This isn’t the usual type of trap that I post, but it was just too good to pass up. Yinyues’s take on the popular song “Bad Girls” is so much fun to listen to from start to finish. From the killer exotic intro to the deep trap beats that make you want to get up and dance, this is remix is a hit. I’m honestly surprised Yinyues hasn’t blown up yet because all of his tracks are fire. This one is out for free download, and give him some support on his Soundcloud while you’re at it!

This summer I’ve had such a weak spot for songs like this. I’m loving the chilled out vibes in Y//2//K’s remix of Leaving by Koda. Tracks like this are perfect for relaxing on a warm August afternoon. The vocals are entrancing and it’s got some incredibly smooth percussion. The float-y vibes have got me absolutely smitten with this remix, and it’s up for free!

It’s been slow in the dubstep world this week so here is some fun trap for your ears. Grandtheft’s remix of “Ways To Go” is just full of energy. From the piano chords to the vocal chopping and sampling, this song is on point. It doesn’t feature many of the “trap sounds” that we’re all used to hearing, and uses a lot of elements of the original indie track in a new way. This remix is the epitome of a summer jam, and will be hitting iTunes on August 13th. For now you can listen to the stream below!

Jellosea’s remix of Anna Kendrick’s “Cups” has been making its round in the blogosphere, and I recommend you all go on his SoundCloud page to check it out. I personally took the time to scout it for you, and came up with this remix of Daft Punk’s “Doin It Right,” which I think is amazing. I’m literally sitting here listening to it at the office on repeat and anticipating for the guitar to drop every time. This remix makes the original sound better. I wish there was a free download to this tune, but for now we’ll have to settle with clicking the play button over and over again. This is a must listen!

Caught this one a few days late, but it’s funky enough that it still deserves some recognition! This is some really sexy trap for your Tuesday. It’s smooth, uplifting, and full of pleasing synth work. The song flows really well with the samples used, and the whole takes the listener on a journey in their mind. It’s also free to download!

Here’s a dope trap-electro remix of Jay Z and Justin Timberlake’s “Holy Grail” by Ty Cody. I think I like this version of the record better. I give him props for remixing a track with Justin Timberlake and Jay Z and pulling it off. You might know the song, but this remix will make you like the track more. If you like electro, trap, and hip hop, you might want to take a listen! Watch out for the drop, the synths and drums over Jay Z’s Holy Grail sample are just too good. Well done Ty Cody, well done! D!RTY AUD!O is back with another free release for you guys, this time coming as an official remix for Ying Yang Twins. Surprisingly I haven’t become too tired of trap yet and it’s finally becoming better in quality with its high demand. This track has some unique features that separate it from the rest in my opinion. The little growlish sounds in the beginning was a unique taste I hadn’t seen before in trap, along with addicting and bouncy melody. It seems as though D!RTY AUD!O has been grinding it out consistently in the studio lately so be prepared for some more releases coming from him soon.
