This remix of “Indiana” by Tom Aspaul from Bronze Whale was one of those tracks that grabbed my attention immediately. The vocals are absolutely fantastic – just pure joy for the ears. The trap style beats Bronze Whale brought to the remix are fun and light. It’s a really unique combination with the sweet, mellow vocals and the bouncy beats. This is some A+ work right here.

That ass though, man, what a cover art for Electric Bodega’s latest trap remix of Avicii ‘s “You Make Me!” Electric Bodega is made up of Mike Cash and Emilio Sparks, whom you might know from his show on Sirius XM’s Shade 45, and in my opinion this remix is a lot more fun than the original song, and I’m not just saying that cause of the cover art. Once again I’ve got another banger from The Ninetys for you! “Touch Me” is a track that The Ninety’s and Phazz collaborated on. Bringing together their skills from the UK and France, this collab is amazing. The Ninetys trap style drums are clean and crisp, and bring the bass to the track. Phazz has a way with melodies that is clearly displayed on this track. Overall it’s a nice chill song for your collection, and it’s free!

As you may recall from my previous post about FLXXDS, the group is made up of Gazzo, Crywolf, and half of PRFFTT & Svyable. This all star cast just released another fantastic track. I hope they stick with this collaboration! The vocals are at a unique pitch, and the beats are trap-like and mellow. The little touches of guitar in there are pretty cool too. This one’s free!

I’m surprised this track hasn’t gotten more coverage over the past few days. Candyland, the killer duo from Isla Vista, comprised of Josie Martin & Ethan Davis, just released (yet another) OG remix – and it’s spectacular to say the least.
Remember back in ’09 when a bunch of artists kept remixing/sampling this song (e.g. – Tiësto’s Remix and Jason Derulo’s “Watcha Say”)? Well, Candyland just brought it back, and it’s straight fire. The way these two chop and screw the vocals, and then throw down an original beat with that classic Candyland sound is refreshing, leaving you wondering how you’re going to wait for their next production. This track is exactly what it’s title says – drippy. “Drippy” by Le Moti is a chill original track featuring trap beats and sound effects underneath a trippy serene melody. Le Moti is made of two cool guys from Philadelphia who know who know how to make your ears melt. This commendable track is free to download if it’s your style!

The Reggae/Rock group, Reef’d, have put themselves in a new light with this beautiful cover of Lorde’s “Royals”. Blending in a little bit of Trap and Soul to the mix, the group showed myself at least that they are prepared for a whole new level Reggae that anyone can soak their ears into. This cover can bring a smile to your face even on the worst of days, I would know, it’s helped me feel good as well. Keep an eye out for great tracks from Reef’d in the future, seems everyone is working on good new beginnings.
