With yet another banger from his (now) biweekly installment “Humpday Heaters,” the wonder-boy Andrew Luce has done it again, this time with a remix of the 2007 classic “Buy U a Drank” by T-Pain. The tune features clean piano chords laced over deep, sensual bass, taking you back and forth between a mixture of baby-making and party vibes. I know it’s post-Valentine’s day at this point, but if you’re still looking to impress that special lady, it’s probably worth grabbing the free download on this one.

Havok Roth’s past few remixes have been more of the turnt festival trap variety, earning support from the likes of Diplo and others, but with this rendition of the aforementioned Diplo’s single with Sia “Plastic Hearts, he tones it down for something more laidback. The Weeknd’s vocals are sacrificed for the greater good of the tune, letting Sia’s voice shine over a trapped out instrumental that borrows from the original and adds pitched percussion. As is customary with Havok, its a free download, so turn up tonight.

This rework of Cashmere Cat‘s “Rice Rain” is fun and catches your attention right off the bat. Personally, I love the use of the rain drop sample… so perfectly constructed. Twinztrack is definitely on my radar now.

His tracks are much more energetic, but here we see the more soothing and relaxing side of the tastemaker who puts together an outstanding selection of tunes for your Valentines Day playlists. Here’s something a little more upbeat than what I usually post. Notixx’s remix of “Vain” by Singularity ft. Evan Duffy puts a fun new twist on the original. Bouncy drumwork and bass lines set the foundation for this trap/electronic banger. This track manages to not quite be chill trap, but also not festival trap or hard trap. It falls somewhere in the middle, and maybe some of you would just call it electronic. The vocals are utilized excellently in the intro and altered nicely in the industrial sounding drops. If you’re diggin’ this genre defying track, cop it for free!

I know this isn’t exactly trap, but some of the drums have that vibe to them. “Want You Back” by Cleindl is filled to the brim with chill vibes. Relaxing and mellow, the bass and vocal chops will carry you away to dreamland. The Tokyo based producer is always bringing us intricate melodies and this track doesn’t fall short. I’m looking forward to more work from Cleindl. Grab it for free… maybe for Valentine’s Day? 😉
