This is Kasbo’s third appearance on FNT, and he is finally getting some of that recognition elsewhere with growing attention from Cream Collective and Trap City. The 18 year old Swedish producer has a new track out called “Reaching”. This unique lovetrap style song has a bouncy drum pattern and a melody that will stick in your head long after you listen. Trap City described it as “a chill release with summer vibes”. You can grab it from Slimkat Records on Beatport.

Over here at FNT we’re die hard DIEHIGH fans so it came as no surprise that I was instantly hooked by one of their latest releases showcasing LA-based newcomer Ostra. This EP is pretty interesting considering the two very different approaches taken with each track. The first, “Won’t Do” will cater perfectly for those Wave Racer fans out there meanwhile the second is a fascinating collage of latin guitar, Mr.Carmack-esque trap, and crowds chanting. Diggin’ the originality. Cop this EP and keep an eye out for future releases from this newbie.

A little late on this one but in case you missed it last week, Aussie vixen Alison Wonderland dropped her latest track titled “I Want U,” produced by none other than Djemba Djemba. This track exhibits Alison’s sultry sound perfectly paired with DD’s basstastic flair. The visual pairing is, might I say considerably dark, and may throw you off at first but will eventually make you want to strobe the lights and behave erratically in your bedroom as well. Turn it up.

If you’re looking for something a little different to start off the week, check out this track by Krampf and Akeda, both from Paris. Although the track is in French, and I’m aware many of our readers are English speakers, the beat speaks for itself. Chill and trapped out, “Embrasse Moi (ft. Pendentif)” bounces along through a mixed series of drum variations that keep it interesting. The warped vocals give it an eerie background.
