New Above & Beyond. The sound of that phrase is music to our ears. Anjunabeats is celebrating its 300th release and what better way to do it than with a tune from the super trio themselves. They are still riding the momentum of their stunning acoustic album, and are slated to release another full length artist album this year, but that has not stopped them from unveiling new material in the mean time. The tune has the sounds of a recent Above & Beyond single with the roller-coaster like ebbs and flows of “Formula Rossa”, with the subtle aggressive bass line that has become a calling card for the label.

The combination of $aturn and Skrux caught my attention immediately, and I knew this would be a good track. $aturn has been putting out a good bunch of “lovetrap” style songs recently, and getting Skrux involved could only make them better. In this track called “Cross Roads ft. Skrux” each drop is different and exciting. While remaining melodic, this original trap song takes many twists and turns. Today we have this fantastic rendition of Wave Racer’s newest single, Streamers, remixed by Ryan Hemsworth. The beginning is very Vic Mensa suitcase-esque but as the song continues on it offers so many different sounds, it’s as if the whole song is broken down and simplified. If you have yet to listen to the original, then get your head out of your behind and get in tune with this Australian producer who will soon be on tour with Disclosure.
