Electronic, Trap | Bel Heir – Kiss The Devil (Just A Gent Remix)

Posted by on March 4, 2014

Just A Gent has dropped another “lovetrap” track for us today! The Australian gent remixed Bel Heir’s “Kiss The Devil” into a melodic masterpiece. I’m loving the progression of the “lovetrap” genre lately. Emotions are strong in the vocals and chord progressions. The trap drums and chopped up synths make it still fast paced and fun to listen to. Scoop your copy for free on Facebook.

Electro, Trap | Jacuzzi – Torture (ft. Mr. Carmack)

Posted by on March 4, 2014

As I sit here writing this post, I find it very difficult to describe Jacuzzi and the genre which he has begun to take over. The newest offering “Torture” features Soulection’s own, Mr. Carmack and combines everything from trap to house. The song is a mere 1:31 seconds long, so enjoy it while you can and don’t sleep on Jacuzzi any longer than you have already.

“Torture” is included in Part 1 of the ‘Seppuku’ series, meaning that with any luck we will be hearing more from the producers, soon!

Chill, Trap | 813 – Crying Flute

813

Who needs more cowbell when you have a perfectly good jazz flute, don’t forget the J is silent. The real question about this song is why is it called crying flute when this is such a beautiful song. 813 has been killing it and received a lot of support with his huge track “Glitter Sand” as well as his guest mix for Diplo and friends not too long ago. Key point of this write up, listen to this song and pay attention to 813’s next moves. Holler at the song and soundcloud below.

Electro | DJ Dan & WhiteNoize – Engine No. 9

Posted by on March 4, 2014

After making some serious noize (pun very much intended) and sneaking its way in to Beatport’s Top 100, I figured it was only right that I share with you all DJ Dan & WhiteNoize’s new material, “Engine No. 9”. The funky house song features samples from Black Sheep and combines them flawlessly with the slaps of a modern dance record.

“Engine No. 9” was released through Instereo Recordings and is available for purchase, here! The WhiteNoize duo is showing no signs of slowing down, so stay tuned for new music coming very soon.

Hot Damn, Enferno hits us with a live remix of Drake and Jay Z’s “Pound Cake” and it goes hard. Let it build for a good 2 minutes, but once it drops and he hops on the keys, you’ll be glad you were listening. Premiered on BBC Radio1 on Diplo & Friends last week, the remix is now up for free download, so get that, this is probably my favorite remix out right now. That chord progression is just too damn good! This is a must listen and a must download!

I’ve heard a lot of “Drunk In Love” remixes lately, but this is the first I’ve heard of The Weeknd’s rendition – and that’s not the only thing that makes this tune stand out. With Humpday Heater number five, Andrew Luce has created yet another show-stopper for you to throw at the top of your playlist, taking a drippy, trapped-out take on the Beyonce track. A must listen and download, turn up the bass, try to prepare yourself for two different, hard-hitting drops, and enjoy!

Chill, Electronic, Trap | Amp Live – Closer to the Sun (Colorado Dreamin’)

Coming at you from the 5-1-0 (Oakland), star producer Amp Live, also 1/2 of the hit Bay Area rap group Zion I, has just released another track under his solo alias, bringing you probably some of the chillest vibes you’ll hear all day. Featuring smooth acoustic guitar, clean wobbles, and fresh vocals from The ReMINDers, Timeline, & Sloppy Joe, “Closer to the Sun” delivers a unique sound that showcases Amp‘s wealth of potential to grow outside of his involvement with Zion I and flourish as an individual. After you hit play, don’t forget to give him a like or a follow on one of his social media outlets – definitely worth it.
