A few Christina Perri “Burning Gold” remixes are making its round through out the blog-o-sphere, but I’m leaning towards Stint’s remix on this one, it’s one you have to listen to with headphones at full volume. It’s hitting so hard, it’s making my heart skip a beat, no lie, and Christina’s vocals will resonate even more. If you’re a fan of Flume, and that chill wave trap vibe, this one’s for you, it’s a must listen, and support by copping it on iTunes!

Clinton Sparks ain’t got no type. Bad ass drops are the only thing that he likes. Cups full of tea he could do this every night. Alright, back to the post. Building on the success of his “ICONoclast” EP released via Republic Records and Photo Finish, Clinton continues to release quality remixes that have propelled him into residencies in Dallas, Chicago, and Las Vegas. Currently on tour with Mike Stud, Clinton continues to wow with his work ethic and trap sensibility. This is remix you need to get familiar with. Owww!

Bass, Drum & Bass | Alex Metric – Heart Weighs A Ton (Mat Zo Remix)

Mat Zo - Alex Metric Remix
As usual, you really have no idea what you’re about to get into when pressing play on a brand new Mat Zo track – and that’s exactly why we have a bit of a broner for the dude. His bi-weekly Mat Zo Mixes (see Soundcloud) are the epitome of “Doin It Live” – this track confirms that Mat Zo isn’t about genre restrictions. Damage Control quite possibly was one of the best albums to put EDM onto its ass in the last decade and the producer/dj is showing no signs of exhaustion. He’s getting ready to hit the road and break-in his brand new label, Mad Zoo in the coming months – here’s an exquisite taste of what to expect.

Ambient, Chill, Electro | Katy Perry – California Gurls (Matt DiMona Remix)

There’s nothing to remind you that the summer is slowly slipping away than a tropical house remix to Katy Perry.

Matt DiMona gave vibey a new meaning and completely flipped the original Perry song on its head. DiMona has stated that he is trying to find “the balance between irresistibly catchy, sing-along pop and pretty, emotional music.” With this remix I can see he’s on his way to doing just that.

“California Gurls” is already tearing apart the Hype Machine charts, so catch it while it’s hot!

Electro, Electronic | ELEL – 40 Watt (Daytrip Remix)

Posted by on October 27, 2014

After shutting down a New York City show with Cashmere Cat and Trippy Turtle, the duo professionally known as Daytrip dropped a killer remix to ELEL’s “40 Watt”. Between the pitched up vocals, shredded guitar riffs, and orchestral sounding synths, you can tell from the gate that the song is a hit.

It has been over a month since we’ve heard any original material from Daytrip, so be on the look out for more music right around the corner.
