It’s no secret that Brooklyn’s Young M.A has been a hot commodity since the summer; accumulating over 83,0000 million plays on Youtube, turning down roles on Empire, and winning over Beyonce in the process. Young M.A’s “OOOUUU” anthem became ubiquitous, and deservedly so. That’s why Young M.A called on none other than Clinton Sparks to put his production prowess on one of the biggest songs of the summer. Trap | RYDEN’s Sophmore Single “Ready” A Strong Follow Up To “Dear God”

Posted by on November 7, 2016

RYDEN previously released her single “Dear God” a few weeks back, a single that had a deep message than most electronic music songs. This time she takes it a step further with ‘Ready”. A single completely created by her from start to finish. The actual sound of her voice is good in itself, making the lyrics easily insert itself into your brain. “Ready” is raw, gritty, tough, and gets more intense as the single progresses.

The orchestral aspects of the single are probably my favorite part, next to the drop, adding a nice little atmospheric that makes tune feel important.

RYDEN received a ton of support on his last single, “Ready” is set to go just as big if not bigger, stay tuned.

DO SOMETHING

Drum & Bass | G-Wizard’s new Drum & Bass tune is more than Good Enough

Posted by on November 3, 2016

For some unknown reason, Drum & Bass never really crossed over to the mainstream in North America, but all that might be about to change. The aptly titled Good Enough, from Australia’s G-Wizard, combines all the energy of traditional D&B, but adds enough pop sensibility to arouse the curiosity of those not well versed in the genre.

Although this is our first time hearing of G-Wizard, he’s been making noise in his homeland for a while now.

Finally a solid remix of this classic Love Me Now song by John Legend. We have had a ton of remix submissions of this song but this is one that definitely stood out with its “melodic dubstep” kind of feel. This one will be on repeat.

Electro, Electronic | Filterkat Lets Loose on ‘Don’t You Wanna’

Posted by on October 26, 2016

This song is massive! Filterkat is an up and coming Aussie producer who really killed his latest release “Don’t You Wanna,” that is out now Be Rich Records. I’m unsure if the lead vocal is Filterkat’s but if it is that really puts the musician galaxies ahead of other electronic music makers. His production is already over the top, crafted perfectly thanks to the how heavily French electro music impacted him, but the vox are the icing on the cake here. Listen to “Don’t You Wanna” above now, and keep the rising star on your map I could seriously see him becoming huge if he keeps at it with quality content as strong as this single.

Dubstep, Trap | AWAL Puts Bass Heavy Twist On The Trap Nation Hit “I Am The King” By James Meyers

Posted by on October 25, 2016

If you thought the feeling conveyed by James Meyers’ “I Am The King” was badass, you need to hear what LA’s own AWAL has done to it. To me, AWAL’s signature sound found within is his dark-pop flavor he adds to many of his releases: fast-paced drums, metal guitar work, and eery harmony layered, all falling at just the right time within the beat/measure to deliver an enhanced version of what the original has given us.

AWAL has handfuls of nice recognition that has come his way. He has played festivals globally, Shaq played out his track at Tomorrowland, and he’s been supported by Carnage, Chuckie, DJ BL3ND, Don Diablo, and more.
