This is where I say we need a Drumstep section haha, and yes, not all Drumstep has to be dirtier than your underwear after a nightmare. I am loving the vibes of this remix, completely blows away the original. The vocals are great, but it’s that beat and drop that sell you into it. The entire single release went under the radar, but I promise this needs to hit your ears.

This is perfect Liquid Drum & Bass for a Sunday. Hung over or just lazy as hell, this track will take you into the dimensions of tomorrow and back. Wolftek created an incredibly beautiful track, leaving the final touches to Jessica Dawn to set this track off right. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

For this weeks Drum & Bass Friday, I ended with a lot of Liquid tracks. Not that it’s a bad thing, Liquid Drum & Bass is art, very smooth, often beautiful to listen to. Starting off the post is preview of an unofficial remix of Madeon’s ‘Icarus’ by Crissy Criss. This remix sounds awesome. No word on a download release date yet, but it is well worth listening to. Crissy Criss really gave the remix his own sound.
Last track for the post you can’t download, is a clip from iM3’s upcoming album, ‘Silence Before The Storm.’ This Liquid track is incredibly smooth, with a very cool groove that fades in and out on the drop.
Continuing the Liquid of the post is a calm track from Wolftek. I absolutely love the flutes that come in and out throughout the track. If you had a rough day or just want to relax, this is the perfect track for you.
The composure of this track is gorgeous. It is very progressive, with the second drop breaking into more of a Drum & Bass beat.

UK producer RoughMath brings us some heavy drumstep on this Monday afternoon. I love the dark vibe and the catchy, agile synthwork that cuts in after the drop, and am also really feeling the way that chopped vocal sample complements the builds. Technically this is actually Jungle, but considering they are relative genres, Drum & Bass was well suited to label this track under. PsychoFreud just gave us a Freudian slip. The fast paced drums and kicks with that latin acoustic sound, teamed up with Reggae blended with old 50s Rat-pack vocal swag. This track and my ears were a match made in Heaven.

Tantrum Desire back at it again already after just releasing their “Get With It / Reach VIP” EP. Seems as though Rusko is planning on releasing a remix EP for, what I felt was one of his best tracks on his album, “Thunder”. Really looking forward to seeing who else has a remix for this track. 2DB seem to be hard at work after releasing an EP only a month ago, now set to release one on Sunday. This EP is no joke featuring some heavy hitting DnB as well as some melodic masterpieces. They completely innovated their sounds from their last EP making it seem as though it is not even the same people producing this EP.
Hot damn, InfraRed Music is cranking out some monster tunes from all of their artist. Rewind, set to release this two track EP on June 18th with one vivacious DnB track and an exhilarating dubstep track like nothing I have ever heard. Words can not describe the excitement I have waiting for this release. InfraRed has made its way to the top of my list for favorite DnB labels. Everyone should check them out on Facebook HERE.

Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Moombahton | Muffler Remixes: Volume Two (Subhuman)

Muffler and Subhuman are back at it again with Volume Two of the Muffler Remixes. Don’t expect anything less than the grimiest dubstep bangers and the heaviest drum & bass tracks from these guys. Now that you have been warned, we can continue and disclose these superb tunes.
Pixel Fist making another appearance on a Muffler EP , and yet again bringing another heavy drumstep/drum and bass banger. No complaints from this track, providing the screechy synths and thick sub-bass. Bare bringing a similar styled remix as Pixel Fist, but slower for obvious reasons (BPM). This track separates itself from Bare’s other tracks, because he incorporates more punch to each of his kicks and drops, which overall brings a heavier atmosphere to the track. Continuing on we have three other dubstep/drum & bass remixes provided by Ajapai, Muffler, and Nightwalker. Nothing short of bass-driven bangers from all three artist. I have to say the last remix provided by Billy The Gent X Long Jawns is the most unique and stylish to me being that it is Moombahton. These guys are on the rise and I can’t wait to get my hands on more of their releases. You can get the whole EP on Beatport HERE.
