Chill, Deep House | OYO Releases Expressive Music Video For Dance Single “Powerless”
Posted by VMan on December 7, 2017
After seeing his work featured in Anchorman 2 and other major motion pictures, OYO is no stranger to the powerful synergy of music and visuals. With his latest offering “Powerless” featuring Temple, OYO provides viewers with a rich, carefully choreographed viewing experience to match the drum ‘n bass and electro vibes of his new song. Director Tom McKenzie successfully captures Maja Kaagaard Olsen’s fluid dance moves in an ominous factory, an otherworldly white background, and a vast piece of farmland, while choreographer Jens Schyth Brøndum’s uses the settings to heighten the impact of each dance move. The “Powerless” video is yet another example of OYO’s ability to fuse movement and music together as one.

Chill | LCAW SURPRISES WITH LUSH NEW TRACK ‘DESIRES’
Posted by VMan on November 27, 2017
This one some how slipped past me last week but once I heard it over the weekend I knew I had to share it. German producer LCAW teamed up with the Danish pop trio WhoMadeWho to create this beautiful hybrid pop-house track aptly named ‘Desires’ and wow has it been on repeat! The vocals from WhoMadeWho layered on top of LCAW’s lush instrumental really make for a feel-good combo.
“Working with WhoMadeWho was something I wanted to do for quite a while, their self-titled album on Gomma is one of my favorites! ‘Desires’ came together very naturally, my instrumental production was already in a similar musical world so when I showed them one of the early versions they quickly agreed to provide the vocals for the track. This is a collaboration not many were expecting but that just makes it so much more special.” says LCAW.

Chill | Nurko Drops Heart-Warming KnightVision Release “With U (feat. Misdom)”
Posted by VMan on October 21, 2017
Nurko may be the next in a long line of successful Jersey-bred artists. “With U (Feat. Misdom)” comes on the heels of lots of indie / dance / soul hybrids we’ve have seen in various shapes and sizes in the past couple of years. Yet, Nurko finds a way to zero in on a very nurturing, organic aspect of these types of sounds that settles in nicely from the very first listen of “With U.” It’s hard to pinpoint the elements that deliver this feeling exactly, but Nurko is certainly ahead of the curve on this front. Previous to this single, Nurko collected several million plays and notable label releases including Lowly Palace, showcasing a consistent track-record of success.

After her successful first release “Bones,” with Benta last month, which racked up over 200K plays thus far, Lenii has chosen another strong collaboration partner choice with BEAUZ. “Not That Brave” forms a sophisticated balance between indie, dark electronic, and trap. BEAUZ is certainly the veterans between the two acts, the brother duo has gained over 18K followers on SoundCloud, hundreds of thousands of plays, and are known for their success remixing the likes of Two Friends and signing originals like “Cease Fire,” released on Lowly Palace. BEAUZ and Lenii were a natural fit via “Not That Brave”
