Dubstep | Truth – Love Shadows EP Pt.2 + Exclusive Interview
Posted by Sev on September 21, 2012
One of my favorite duo’s is back with their last installment to cap off the release of their free LP that was given away in two EP’s. Truth has been supplying some well rounded material for these EP’s showing us everything from Garage style, to dark dubstep, to the heavy grimy material. Featured on this EP is one of their highly anticipated releases, and that is their collaboration with Datsik entitled Too Late. It is hard to single out a favorite on this EP for me being that each track exposes a different side of what this dynamic duo can produce. The use of deep dark sounds is what appeals to me the most about their style of production as well as the slow tempos and unique sounds. The EP is must have for all dubstep fans so grab it off their soundcloud as well as support their social medias provided in the links below. Read on below to check out our interview with this outstanding duo.

Trap | Bro Safari – Scumbag
Posted by Sev on September 19, 2012
I’m sure you guys have already heard me blab about how I am not the biggest fan of the Trap movement, but I am fan of a great track. Which is what brings me to posting this latest track that was just featured on the Trap-A-Holics mixtape, that can be downloaded through the link provided on his Soundcloud Description. This track is bouncy and mean at the same time adding an Electronic spin to this Trap take on the Biggie Smalls sampled lyrics.
Dubstep, Trance | [Preview]Velvetine – The Great Divide (Seven Lions Remix) + Isis VIP & Paul Van Dyk Remix Previews
Posted by Sev on September 19, 2012
As much as I tried to hold on to this preview until the official release, it wasn’t going to happen. Seven Lions is an artist who in my opinion is doing something nobody else can match, or can do at his level. He is a pioneer of Trance influenced Dubstep and has nearly mastered it to a perfection. It isn’t just that his music is amazing and unique in all aspects, but the emotion it brings to all listeners and I know I don’t just speak for myself when I say that. In the past week, three outstanding previews to some of his upcoming material surfaced and it only felt right to share them with you guys. The first one being this supernatural remix of Velvetine’s The Great Divide. Goosebumps only begin to clarify the feeling I got when I first stumbled upon this track. I can say with full confidence that this release is going to be my favorite of the year.
Next up we change pace a little to a new remix Paul van Dyk’s I Don’t Deserve You that is more Trance than his usual material. Although you can still get a taste of the heavy bass filled synths from his Dubstep styled tracks sprinkled throughout this remix. There isn’t a noticeable amount to stray it away from the more Trance filled aspect.
For our last preview we give a big thanks to MrSuicideSheep for getting everyone this exclusive first look at the Isis VIP. Given that the original was epic enough just means this track has too be that much better. We are still waiting on whether or not this is going to get a release, so cross your fingers and hope he feels generous enough to share this masterpiece.
Drum & Bass, Dubstep | Sub Focus – Out The Blue (Oscillator Z Remix)
Posted by Sev on September 15, 2012
Sub Focus’s Out The Blue had to be my favorite single from him this year because of the outstanding vocals on the track as well as the overall construction, so whenever I saw this remix up on Soundcloud I knew Oscillator Z had some big shoes to fill. He did an impressive job on this remix to say the least. He was able to keep the vocals intact and appealing with the melody spiced up to his liking, which gave it nice electro sounding quality to it. The drumstep drop worked so well with this track keeping the BPM between dubstep and drum and bass with his distorted synths.
Trap | D!RTY AUD!O ft.Nikkimarie – Drop That Ass (Original Mix)
Posted by Sev on September 14, 2012
FNT recurring artist D!RTY AUD!O has released another fun filled trap original this week already featured in UZ’s UKF mix. Although trap has slowly brought the decline of Moombahton (which saddens me), this track has a nice catchy feel to it, but I just can’t put my finger on exactly what it is. You won’t catch me posting too much trap just because I can barely stand it with all the influx of it, but this one was able to make it to my favorites so download and enjoy.
Electro-House | Schoolboy – Aftershock + Exclusive Interview + Video Premiere
Posted by Sev on September 11, 2012
An FNT favorite, Schoolboy, has just changed pace on his latest release taking a detour from his usual Dubstep tracks to a new colossal original Electro-House track. We have been following Schoolboy for quite some time now and seeing him progress has been a pleasure and finally being able to interview this amazing artist was a privilege (which can be found by clicking on the ‘Read On’ link), but we will get to that after the track.
With the premiere of his crazy spazmatic video of his newest work, Aftershock , Schoolboy is putting himself more and more on the map for the EDM scene. The track has a nice horror, 8-bit sounding intro that fits the mood for the track well. The build up leading to the heavy, growl influenced drop is bass filled enough to send any crowd into a craze, but at the same time tasteful enough to be able to dance to. It always nice to see artist expand out of their comfort zone and be able to conquer other genres as well as put together a full visual production to go along with it. Be sure to show your support and grab this awesome Subhuman release off of Beatport HERE.
Before you head off, click the ‘Read On’ link below to learn a little bit more about Schoolboy and what he had to say when we got the chance to talk with him.

Dubstep | Polina, Steve Aoki, Tiesto – Tornado (Kill The Noise Remix)
Posted by Sev on September 11, 2012
We all have heard this dance anthem by Tiesto and Steve Aoki at some point in out festival escapades in the past year or so, but Kill The Noise happened to this track and by happened to it I mean spiced up and created an absolute banger! Although there is little recollection of the original in this remix; this track shows more of the soft side of KTN with its amazing piano chorded intro and emotional lead piano setting the mood up for a melodic masterpiece. This is right before Polina’s vocals kick in, changing the mood a little bit and slowly leading to the heavy growl bassed drop that brings the track to a more fun upbeat pace. This track isn’t one to pass on so grab it off Beatport HERE.
