Interviews | Mike Stud x Mod Sun [FNT Exclusive]
Posted by LoffyG on March 22, 2012
[do action=”youtube” videoid=”ma2YqF4paKs”/]
I caught up with Mike Stud while he was in Minneapolis, MN on his Toast To Tommy Tour. He has to be one of the chillest guys that I’ve met. He was down with all his fans at the show, and took time to meet pretty much everyone that wanted. Not only was Mike Stud an awesome dude but DJ Fader was as well. These two as a duo on the road are unbeatable. They know how to have a good time and that’s just what we did!

I also sat down with Mod Sun after the show. He was one of the opening acts and definitely “lived” it as he would say. He’s a great artist from Minnesota and definitely one of my favorite out right now. This interview was a bit out of control, but a great time nonetheless. Yes, I’ll admit we had more than one drink before we filmed this! It’s funny to see how my personality did a 360 in a matter of hours between filming these interviews. I brought up the topic of favorite upcoming artist(s) and it ended up turning into our favorite artists, haha. Shouts to Tayyib Ali, Sammy Adams, and Cam Meekins on this one!? Enjoy.
Shoutout to EXP Promotions and Freshletes!
Hip-Hop | Huey Mack – Good Night (Prod. Kato)
Posted by LoffyG on March 22, 2012
After receiving the dope song, “Nothing Back” from Huey Mack earlier this week, we are blessed with another. This is off SKMA’s upcoming project, A Kato Production. SMKA is an independent music group that has worked with a plethora of different artists on various projects. If you aren’t familiar with Kato he’s a music producer out of Atlanta and he’s worked with major artists from Lil Scrappy to Roscoe Dash. Remember Huey’s upcoming project, A Boy Named Hue drops April 23rd! I’m definitely feeling this one, Good Night.
Hip-Hop | Huey Mack ft. Young Scolla & Mike Stud – Nothing Back
Posted by LoffyG on March 19, 2012
This past week has been a big one for Huey Mack. From getting his latest video for “Looking At The Sky” played on MTV to being verified on his Twitter account, he’s clearly making himself known. The track will be featured on Huey’s upcoming project, A Boy Named Hue which drops April 23rd! This Sims Beats heater has a really dope sound to it and Huey’s hook is so catchy, it will have you singing along in no-time. Young Scolla and Mike Stud join in to make this track complete. Definitely going to throw this one in my summer jams playlist. Windows down, speakers up on this! It’s something you’ve gotta share.

Hip-Hop | Mike Stud – Live Big (Prod. Judge)
Posted by LoffyG on March 13, 2012
While Mike Stud is busy on the road touring across the United States he’s also making big industry moves, while still finding time to bring fresh music to our ears. He comes swinging with punchline after punchline in this MSOCB anthem titled “Live Big”. He recently signed to OCB management and also a production deal with a Bad Boy affiliate. Only big things to come in the future of Mike Stud Music. I also caught up with Mike for an interview a couple weeks back at his show in Minnesota. Be on the lookout for that to drop here within the next couple of days!
Hip-Hop | Cam Meekins – Sentences
Posted by LoffyG on March 12, 2012
Cam drops some quick bars on this freshly released track, “Sentences”. Glad to see he’s back on his grind dropping new music. He went on brief hiatus while working out in Califronia, but since then he’s been dropping quality material. His previous release “Cut Me Off” has been in constant rotation since its release. Be on the lookout for his album release in the near future. LAMP CITY
