Hip-Hop, Videos | Cam Meekins – The Receipt [Music Video]
Posted by LoffyG on April 9, 2012
Cam Meekins releases his second music video of the year, The Receipt. Along with dropping the video he announced he will be releasing a free album titled “:) :/ :(” on May 21st. How do you pronounce that you ask? I was asking myself the same thing, but Cam said via twitter that he was leaving it up to the fans to decide. Personally, this is another dope song and video in my opinion. I was impressed with his previous release “Cut Me Off” and this one is just as quality. The video was again directed and shot by Cam Meekins and Brian Petchers. Definitely looking forward to this project release!
Albums, Hip-Hop | Gordon Bombay – Unburstable Bubble
Posted by LoffyG on April 7, 2012
A little over a month ago I posted this Unburstable Bubble album by Gordon Bombay. At the time it was only made up of 3 tracks but now the second chapter has been released, adding 5 new songs. The cool thing about this album is that all proceeds go to Charity Water. The minimum donation to receive the album is only $1, but you can certainly give more. Gordon Bombay is a collective made up of many talented artists such as Mod Sun, Pat Brown, Zachary Garren, JCW, & B Rolla. I really dig this project and I’m glad they continued to add more songs to it. Here is what Gordon Bombay had to say about the project:
In mid December 2011 we entered the studio with one goal in mind, make a RECORD. Not a “hip hop” record, or a “pop” record, just great music.
All proceeds from this project will be donated directly to “Charity Water”. A foundation that builds clean water wells in a country which has none. 800 million people on the planet don’t have access to clean drinking water. Unsafe water & lack of basic sanitation kills more people every year than all forms of violence, including war!
Hip-Hop | Paul Markham – Hammer Dance [FNT Exclusive]
Posted by LoffyG on April 3, 2012
Paul Markham is back with his second remix in a week. This time he throws some hot bars over Slaughterhouse’s “Hammer Dance“. I’ve been playing this song and Underground Kingz in constant rotation since Paul sent me them earlier last week. He is definitely growing as an artist and improving with every track. Be on the lookout for more Paul Markham coming soon!
Hip-Hop | PJ Simas – My Paradise
Posted by LoffyG on April 1, 2012
PJ Simas finishes off the Simas Sunday Series by Sampling Coldplay’s song “Paradise” as he dubbed it “My Paradise. PJ goes in on this one as usual. Be on the lookout for his 3rd all-orginal album to release sometime in the near future. If you haven’t seen his most recent video for “California Lonely” (which is a very good song by the way) you can watch it after the jump!

Hip-Hop | HavKnott Republik – Get Away | G.Beck – We Are Young
Posted by LoffyG on April 1, 2012
Remember Young Scolla who was featured on Huey Macks recent release “Nothing Back”? Well this next track is by him and K-Bunz who make up the group known as HavKnott Republik. This song is the second release from REUPSPOT.com’s upcoming mixtape, “F#ck Cancer”. This what Scolla had to say about the project,
This project is to help raise Cancer awareness in the Hip-Hop community. This tape represents the struggles of fighting cancer and the glory of beating cancer. The songs we’ve compiled from some of the best up & coming hip hop artists can be helpful for the patient, a friend or family member. It is also great music for the casual listener and we hope that you understand what this tape stands for.
G.Beck drops a new track titled “We Are Young” which samples the orginal We Are Young by the band Fun. G.Beck is new to the blogosphere but I’ve seen him open for artists such as Sammy Adams and Machine Gun Kelly. You like G.Beck? Fire off in the comments or follow him on Facebook and Twitter!

Hip-Hop, Pop, Videos | Mike Stud – Boyfriend (Remix) [Music Video]
Posted by LoffyG on April 1, 2012
When I spoke with Mike Stud in the beginning of March he gave me the heads up that he would be dropping a new single every couple of weeks, and he wasn’t lying. Not only is he dropping singles, he’s continually raising the bar with each release. If you didn’t notice, on Mike’s last release “Is It Worth It” he tried his hand at singing and I’ve got to admit it was pretty good. Then I heard this song and he totally blew me away with it. He remixed Justin Bieber’s hit song “Boyfriend” and I’d say this is some of his best work and definitely a stepping stone in his career. Be on the lookout for this guy because a little bird told me he’s got some crazy industry moves on deck!
