“But on the real I wish I woulda listened cause my manager stole 10 grand and went missin, but its whatever though no time to waste on that I played a sweet 16 and I made it back!”
The weekend has come to an end so unfortunately it’s back to the workweek grind for most of us, but on the upside it’s #SundayStudDay! This week Mike goes in over Drake’s rendition of “Still Fly” and kills it as usual, while Jon Kilmer delivers the visuals to go with it. Be on the lookout for Mike Stud and Huey Mack’s joint mixtape “Click” dropping August 1st!

Posted by LoffyG on July 11, 2012
Gaines drops a new song and video to hold people over until the release of The Night Crawler: Reloaded on August 28th. This one features YouTube sensation Lil Crazed who recently broke 40 million views on his channel, pretty impressive. Aside from the video, Gaines just got back from a trip to Chicago where he linked up with upcoming artist, Chance The Rapper. Be on the lookout for that track when it drops because it’s guaranteed to be hot!
Hip-Hop | Huey Mack & Metric – Help! I’m Alive
Posted by LoffyG on July 9, 2012
Huey Mack drops a nice verse over this track that samples Help I’m Alive by Metric. Huey has been making a lot of tracks lately that use samples from popular songs such as “Settle Down” and the “Looks Like Sex (Remix)”. Also don’t forget Huey and Mike Stud are dropping a joint mixtape on August 1st that is guaranteed to be crazy!
Alternative | Radical Something – Tomorrow

So lately I don’t get no answers
I guess we gotta wait for tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow”
This new Radical Something track marks the 5th week in the Summer Of Rad series. Honestly, this is my favorite track they’ve released so far this summer. It has such a soulful vibe to it you can’t help but love it. Songs like these are what make Radical Something so special. The way these three guys produce music together works so well and that’s why they’ve risen to the point they’re at over this past year. Can’t wait to see what these next 7 releases have to offer. Follow Radical Something below and check out the previous Summer Of Rad releases here.
Also Radical Something has a big show coming up on 7/17 at House Of Blues in Los Angeles with Sammy Adams! You can get tickets for that here.
Hip-Hop | Tarik & Mike Stud – You Don’t Know Me (Prod. VP)
Posted by LoffyG on July 8, 2012
Week 2 of #SundayStudDay is here and with every week Mike tries to make each release sound different from the last, whether it’s a remix, cover or an original. This week Mike teams up with Tarik to create an original track that’s very personal and delivers a message. I definitely like when Mike makes songs like these because it’s one of his stronger suits in my opinion, and I’m sure many of his fans have been waiting on something like this because its been awhile. Many people probably haven’t heard of Tarik such as myself, but this guy can rap. Follow him on his social media below!

Hip-Hop, Videos | Mike Stud – Youth (Prod. One Love)
Posted by LoffyG on July 1, 2012
if you second guess yourself for a second you’ll end up second”
When I first heard Mike Stud was dropping a video for a song called “Youth” as the first installment of #SundayStudDay my first thought was he’d be going in over the version off Kilmer’s Babraham Lincoln mixtape, but I was wrong. This is a totally different instrumental produced by One Love that samples “We Are Young” by Fun ft. Janelle Monáe. Another great song from Mike Stud and dope visuals to accompany it by none other than his right hand man Jon Kilmer! Also if you’re diggin’ that exclusive Mike Stud Youth tank he’s rocking in the video you can cop that over at Freshletes.
