RnB | Lolah Brown – Show Me ft. Dunson
Posted by Jess on May 3, 2012
Lolah Brown, a singer/songwriter from Cleveland, Ohio who has sung background vocals for the likes of Nicki Minaj, Keri Hilson and John Legend, just released a new collaboration featuring Dunson. The song entitled “Show Me” is produced by Phatboiz, the producers behind John Legend’s single “Tonight” as well as Dunson’s single “Count On It”. The song has a slight Aaliyah-feel to it and is a pretty good preview of what to expect from Lolah Brown’s upcoming Black Lily project.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Dunson – Live in Philly Opening for John Legend (Video)
Posted by Jess on May 1, 2012
A little over a week ago Dunson had the opportunity to open for the one and only John Legend at The Liacourias Center in Philadelphia. The milestone event for Dunson was captured by his film crew AtomEvolve and gives a glimpse of what went down that night. The song featured in the background of the video is Dunson’s remix of John Legend’s “Tonight (Best You Ever Had)” that was released just before the show and cosigned by John Legend himself. If you like how Dunson and John Legend sound together, you can expect John Legend to be featured on Dunson’s upcoming mixtape The Investment, which will be due out this summer. You can download Dunson’s remix of “Tonight” for free here.
Electro | Louis La Roche – Untrue (Dave Edwards Remix)
Posted by Jess on April 27, 2012
Not really familiar with Louis La Roche but I am always down for a new Dave Edwards remix. As usual, Dave Edwards kills on the production on this one and makes it even better than the original. The remix features the poppy, smooth synths that Dave Edwards is known for and if you are a fan of his previous work, you’ll love this. May be his best yet.
Electro-House | Logic – Just Another Day (Feature Cuts Remix)
Posted by Jess on April 27, 2012
With Logic’s upcoming mixtape Undeniable dropping on April 30th, Feature Cuts decided to release a remix of one of Logic’s standout tracks from his last mixtape “Just Another Day”. Cleverly combining element of electro, dubstep and hip hop, Feature Cuts turns the song into a Electro House banger. This is definitely the first time I’ve heard someone flip one of Logic’s tracks, one of the most quickly rising stars in Hip Hop today, and Feature Cuts does it well. Electronic, Videos | The Very Best – Yoshua Alikuti (Music Video) & (Konrad OldMoney Remix)
Posted by Jess on April 26, 2012
Konrad OldMoney just tipped me off on The Very Best’s new single “Yoshua Alikuti” and let me tell you this song is HUGE. It’s on some worldwide takeover, world cup anthem type lane. You may not be able to understand what they are saying but it would be hard not to start dancing to it once it starts blaring from your speakers. Konrad OldMoney, always being quick on his game, created a remix of the track. The first remix of the track to be released. Check out the video for the original above and Konrad’s remix below.
Progressive House | Green Day – Wake Me Up When September Ends (Hollidayrain Remix)
Posted by Jess on April 25, 2012
A progressive house remix of Green Day? Unexpected but I’ll take it, especially considering it is of one of their best songs. Apparently, Hollidayrain has been keeping this from us for the past 5 month and finally just released it. The remix contains the beautiful synths that Hollidayrain is known for and it is really a great track. Check it out and become a fan of his on Facebook.
