After getting the nod of approval from Swizz Beatz on his remix of Ruff Ryders’ “Down Bottom”, B.Dolla decided it only made sense to take on another classic track produced by Swizz. One of DMX’s most recognizable songs, “Ruff Ryders Anthem” is a staple for 90’s hip hop. I remember I used to bump this song heavy back in middle school. Already an energy packed song, B.Dolla kicks it up a few BPMs to take the song over the edge. Grab the free download below.

Revamping their single “Stars” from a year ago, Silver Medallion & DJ DStar join forces again to make “Stars 2.0”. The song was actually played during Showtime’s show Shameless last night in this scene (warning: NSFW). There really couldn’t have been a better scene to play it in. Introducing Leaf, an extremely talented artist who is one to watch in 2013. The 17-year-old New York native just dropped her debut mixtape entitled Naked & Wasted in which she raps and sings over a selection of Electronic, Trap and Pop productions. She even goes in over Carnage’s incredible remix of “Spaceman”. Some of my favorite tracks off the tape include “Running”, “Spaceman”, “Lie To Me” , “Can’t Say No” and “Wreckless”. Since then, they have built a solid following for themselves and their unique take on Disco House. The the save vein as their Rihanna remix, Solidisco lends their funky production to Bruno Mars “Locked Out of Heaven” creating a funky take on the hit record.
