The young Miami rhymes-man delivers an introspective visual treatment for “Chase To Nowhere”, which was featured on his most recent mixtape, Fear Not Failure. Recognizing at times his trip may be disgruntling and appear as a chase to nowhere, these are the cards he was dealt and no matter what adversity he faces, music is his destiny. QuESt has once again proves his consistency with another strong representation of his powerful lyrical ability after delivering another promising video for “I Go, You Go” less than one month ago.

You just got VMG’d.
More than halfway through his 25-city, nationwide tour, Logic shares with us the newest installment of tour life inJust Another Day Episode 12. He is not only selling out venues across the country, he is taking independent music to an entirely new level. Seeing Logic live is more than a concert, it’s an experience. No two shows are the same which is made evident in this video. Have you ever seen an artist pause his set to pick up the phone of a kid in the audience to talk to his buddy on the other end, asking why he didn’t make it to the show? Doubtful. You’re experiencing the birth of a star. Other than the dude in the San Fran pullover showcasing his vocals outside the Mac N’ Cheese shop, very few can keep up in the lane Logic’s currently cruising in. For tickets to the remaining shows, hit up VMGTour.com

Hip-Hop, Videos | Kendrick Lamar – Swimming Pools (Drank) [Music Video]
Posted by Grubeats on August 3, 2012
[do action=”youtube” videoid=”8-ejyHzz3XE”/]
K.Dot continues to grasp the attention of his audience and naysayers alike with songs like this. Although the message behind this song may not be conducive to the “rapper image”, the underlying issue is one that needs to be addressed by artists with the knowledge to back it. Coming off an outstanding first single, “The Recipe”, featuring Dr. Dre smoothly reciting verses kindly written by Kendrick himself, the up and coming Compton icon releases a wavy track about the effects of alcohol, better suited for the intellectual listeners.
Will the release of his debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, solidify Lamar as one of the best in the game? Hold off on answering that until October 2nd. Purchase “Swimming Pools (Drank)” on iTunes now.
