I.O.U. has come a long way in a year. A few months after dropping their first mixtape BOMBS, the duo was opening for the likes of Far East Movement, Kid Cudi, And Rick Ross. Today they’re releasing their new project, Love,Great.Humans. The majority of the tracks were produced by themselves, which gives the mixtape’s a truly unique touch. Luda just dropped his Back To The Future mixtape today and I got to say, I’m surprised by the content. The majority of the whole tape’ sounds very Southern, with its slow beats and chopped up hooks, which is surprising from Ludacris, given the electro/pop-rap road he’s taken over the past few years. With features from Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, and Big K.R.I.T. there’s at least one track on here that everyone can enjoy.

With only a few days left till the release of his upcoming mixtape The Layover, Mike released this song featuring Chi-Town’s very own, Twista. Hopefully this Sunday we’ll get a taste of the old Mike, prior to that debacle of an mainstream album, 31 Minutes To Takeoff.

The video was directed and edited by Josh Romero, shot by Hance Taplin and Shane Darnell, and produced by Conception Crafters. This is how you make a music video. The feeling was amazing. Hip-Hop, Videos | Timeflies Tuesdays: Hotel California

Cal and Res have given us another epic pairing of beats and freestyles in their latest Timeflies Tuesday, “Hotel California”. As usual, the pair has come up with some amazing improv rhymes, set to a pumped-up Hotel California instrumental. Due to some YouTube BS, the video is only available on facebook here.
If you are not keeping up with Timeflies Tuesday, it is time to change that. Cal and Res have been spicing up the most boring day of the week, one amazing video at a time. Other highlights in his long list of jams include Under the Sea and iTribute. Try to catch these guys live before they blow up (inevitable) and shows start selling out.

Hip-Hop, Mashups | DJ21azy – No Balance on Death Row

Another quality mash from the man, DJ21azy. I think he does these mashups right by using classic hip-hop instead of jumping on a Adele song or using Levels, but hey that’s just me. Anyway the mash is Pac’s 16 on death row and Atmosphere’s trying to find a balance. Support the dude with his Facebook page and definitely watch out for more mashes to come.
