Spending most of his days home alone, Famous had a lot of time to discover himself not only musically but as a person and develop his discovered identity. Building up a comfort with his work, Famous began using the rhymes he would write in local cyphers. Others began to recognize his talent and propelled him into developing a career in music. With basketball out of his life, there was nothing left to hold him back from pursuing music. Famous began working with the son of once successful singer James Ingram and as a result recorded his first songs. From day one the potential and the passion were very evident. Honing his skills through constant recording and perpetual writing, Famous released his debut mixtape entitled Almost Famous in 2009. Capitalizing off of the mixtape’s success, Famous began showcasing his talent through performance; opening for Atlantic/Epic recording artist Lupe Fiasco, as well as winning a Rap Competition, “Move the Crowd”, put on by JiJi Sweet (2010 Female DJ of the Year Nominee). Now more focused than ever, Famous is currently working on his second mixtape entitled, Head in the Clouds due to release September of 2010.
