These guys have been on the come up for a while now, but their output just keeps on getting better. WNWD, the Wywood, Miami bred threesome, recently dropped a new song called “Set Me Free.” Their poppiest drop yet may just be their biggest record yet for me. The production and instrumentation is as interesting as it always is but what really grabbed my attention this time around are the lead vocals, which really go off. I was shown “Higher” by WNWD about a week ago on Facebook and it has really grown on me. First listen through I wasn’t crazy about this single, but after a couple more spins the MIA three-piece’s latest really grew on me and now I can’t stop listening to it! They’ve really evolved as a group.. The lyrics have stepped up and their musical production style is just as good as it’s always been. Next to “Cruise”, this is WNWD’s strongest release thus far.
