Anjunadeep man turned Anjunabeats Dj and producer James Cayzer better known as Jaytech is coming off of a year that saw him release his sophomore album “Multiverse” and cement his position as one of the better members of the Anjunabeats family. 2012 saw him grace the stages like EDC Las Vegas, Electric Zoo and Tomorrowland, while touring the world in destinations like North America, Japan, Europe and his native Australia. He most recently released his track “Inception” on Anjunabeats Volume 10, one of the darker tracks on the compilation. After moving to Berlin 3 years ago, a move that has been “really great”, from his 2 year stint in London to be closer to the Anjunabeats family, he feels right at home making music that feels right.
We got him on the phone at his place in Berlin in between shows last weekend in New York and Slovakia and then back to the US this week for the all important WMC. This has to be my favorite track to date from Manic Focus. The name “Forever Blasting” is a perfect fit for the space-crunk blasting bass, riddling our eardrums like an intergalactic drive-by. Vocal samples from deceased rap legend, Fat Pat, really put this track into a stellar perspective, paired with beats that send you to another world.

Collin McLoughlin latest release, an uplifting Vocal Edit of Madeon’s Icarus, is nothing short of epic. Not only does Collin preserve the same exhilarating feel that characterizes Madeon’s music, but he also developed lyrics which expand upon the central theme of the original song. As Collin himself describes,
Feeling inspired by the song I set out to create lyrics that related to the original Icarus story
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the story of Icarus and need a quick refresher course on Greek Mythology, please allow Wikipedia to bring you up to speed:
The main story told about Icarus is his attempt to escape from Crete by means of wings that his father constructed from feathers and wax. He ignored instructions not to fly too close to the sun, and the melting wax caused him to fall into the sea where he drowned.
So take a moment, bask in the the production greatness that Madeon never fails to provide, and really pay close attention to the beautiful lyrics that Collin so masterfully composed.

BIGLIFE put up the original of this track a few weeks ago and it was straight FIRE. Phil Monnerat makes some nice electro remixes. This is by far one of the best hes made. He spices up the beat a little bit and of course amps these HOT vocals.
