New Hampshire native, Aziz, recently linked up with Philly burner, Tayyib Ali, jointly deciding to give us a Preview of what the two are capable of producing. Taking advantage of Cardo’s recent free beat tape, Groove, the two wild boys spark off a friendly reminder of what’s in their pockets as well as what’s on the horizon. This marks the third single off Aziz’s upcoming mixtape, Tinderboxxx, which will be released next Wednesday, October 10th. Don’t be surprised if Aziz lets another raw cut go before next week.

Pennsylvania native Tayyib ali links up with newcomer Nick Pratt to create a perfect track to cruise to as your fall begins. La Harrier produces a jazz like beat with some southern style present, and Tayyib hops on and brings his classic flow to give us all a preview of what’s in store for Keystone State of Mind 2. Although I haven’t heard much of Nick Pratt, his verse was promising and I look forward to hearing more from him. Keystone State of Mind was one of my favorite tracks from 2011, but this might be my new favorite Tayyib song. Shout out to my boy Andrew Kenny for the scoop on this track.

Young Tayyib Ali has been spending the last several weeks out in LA recording his EP with the tiki man, Cisco Adler. Evidently all the time in the studio had Tay feeling froggy to release some new music to his fans. Sharing with us two originals, “Anything” and “Like Dat”, as well as a remix over Wale’s “Tats On My Arm” flipped to suit any frequents of AA, titled “Straight Out The Bottle”. Although none of these will land on either Tay’s One Way EP or his next mixtape, Keystone State of Mind 2 (tentative name), new music is nothing to be frowning about.

We’ve posted QuESt a couple times in the past, the first being when he dropped his most recent mixtape, Fear Not Failure. Here we have a new video from the Miami native, which can be found on that mixtape, which also includes features from Logic and Mickey Factz. As a bonus, I’ve added in a record that didn’t make the cut for Fear Not Failure, but definitely deserves a listen. In other news, QuESt just finished his stint on tour, opening up for Logic and Tayyib on the VMG tour for the first few shows, so I think it’s fair to expect more collabs from the two in the future.

It’s been three months since Logic dropped his junior mixtape, Young Sinatra: Undeniable. With that we received the last episode of Logic’s web series, Just Another Day, which showcased the making of the mixtape. While Logics stock has skyrocketed since late April, solidifying him as one of the hottest young artists on the rise today, he shares with us the first official release of new material since the mixtape dropped. Hip-Hop | Tayyib Ali – Dreaming (Prod. by The Astronauts)

With his head high, Tayyib has been very eager to give his fans what they want. New music. Linking up with one of his top production duo’s, The Astronauts, Tay releases the latest single off his third coming mixtape. In the past they have collaborated on “High Definition”, “Tomorrow”, and “Never Change” and I think it’s safe to say we can expect more work in the near future. Tay spit me some of these bars acapella back when I interviewed him in Boston and I’ve been waiting for the final product ever since. Although the prince of Philly still has a way to go to be where he ultimately see’s himself, he’s got the demeanor and potential to make it there.
In other news, Tayyib and label-mate, Logic, are preparing to kick off their first even nationwide tour on July 7th, presented by Visionary Music Group. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t grab your tickets now! Full details after the break.
