Sebastian Carter is back with another smooth remix, this time blessing the scene with his rendition of Chelsea Lankes ‘Down For Whatever’. Los Angeles via Texas native Chelsea Lankes’ original has already received early radio support on KCRW, KXRN, and 98.7FM KYSR in LA, as well as a nod from Spotify in their New Music Tuesday series. Premiered with Indie Shuffle, Sebastian’s take on “Down For Whatever” is as deep as it is melodic, injecting the song with a steady dose of tropical house vibes.

Who knew so much soul could come from a 19 year old Switzerland boy, but wow his remix of Prides’ “Messiah” is a deep house gem that’s in a league of its own! I’m currently listening to it, and it feels like there’s a dance party happening inside my heart lead by a gospel choir, and a DJ named Sebastian Carter on the decks as their conductor, now hear how that sounds! There is nothing better than a song that when you listen to it, it resonate through out your whole body and reaches your soul, which I guess is why they call it deep house, soulful if I may add, and Sebastian Carter’s latest edition of The 1975’s “You” does just that! The 19 year old Swiss producer currently living in London is surely going to be making noise with this one capturing the sound of 80’s R&B, pop, reminiscent of old school Peter Gabriel, and Lionel Richie.
