Coming soon!!! comes through last week with their latest track, “The Disco Fans.” The duo hailing from Israel delivers a mind grabbing electronic performance that reverberates with their signature slick vibes before flaring up just in time for the hook. It’s definitely that track you find yourself grooving to late night on the dance floor. Furthermore, the new record arrives with them announcing that they will release a new track every three weeks as a part of their rendition to bringing you better music. With an already massive following in Europe and South America the duo are setting their phasers to kill while they enter North America. Starting in Seattle and followed by LA with only more stops to be announced. The Coming may be Sooner!!! than we expected.

These two producers, transplants from Seattle and now based in LA, are cooking a new sound, bending genres, and having fun all at the same time. Onda’s remix of THEY.’s bubbling “Back It Up” has all the right ingredients for a smash. Not only that, but the flip of the original adds a freshness to the track that doesn’t happen in remixes that often. This makes you zone out, dance, and vibe all at the same time. Really excited to see what else comes from these two.

Hip-Hop, Rap | Sam Lachow – Half Past Twelve (ft. Magik)

Posted by on August 5, 2014

The Seattle native, Sam Lachow recently smashed back on to the scene with his album Huckleberry. A standout from the album is Magik assisted track, “Half Past Twelve”. The poppy-upbeat record documents Lachow’s night at a party without coming across as a “party-record.” The incredibly well-produced track, complete with guitar riffs, rounds off what could quite possibly be the song you were missing for your summer playlist.

Enjoy the song, and grab the whole album here!

Barcelona - Please Dont Go [Ted Hunter & Spencer Baird Remix]

Barcelona are a group that’s sound rely heavily on piano’s so it makes sense for their style to translate to dance music remixes. Today we have for you the exclusive download of a progressive remix from Ted Hunter & Spencer Baird of the 2007 “Please Don’t Go” by the Seattle 4-piece band. They keep much of the original in the breaks, adding gentle piano that melds just right with the soft vocals from Barcelona and injecting an easy going synth melody to the crescendos. Grab the download exclusively here and stream it below.

Ambient, Electro | Barcelona – Background (MSG Remix)

Posted by on February 2, 2014

Despite their million+ fans, I was previously unaware of Barcelona. The group has chocked their SoundCloud full of remixes, and one in particular that really made a lasting impression was MSG’s “Background” reworking. The song takes ambient elements from Barcelona’s catchy vocals and mixes them with the deep house sounds that are making their rounds across the music world. The result is pure bliss for an entire four minutes and thirty eight seconds.

Both MSG and Barcelona hail from the Northwest state of Washington, a hub for all things culture and music. The local influences allowed for this track to click on multiple levels, making it enjoyable for indie and electronic fans alike.

I encourage you all to dive in to this song and stay up to date with future releases via Barcelona’s SoundCloud page.

Electronic, Hip-Hop | The Physics – Play It Off

Posted by on November 23, 2013

The Physics, from south Seattle, have released this single called “Play It Off” from the forthcoming album “Digital Wildfire” that will be out on December 13th. The Physics bounce around in the sub genres of hip hop, and I’m not even sure what to call this one. Perhaps indie hiphop? Nonetheless, this track is tasteful and smooth. Mellow drums and rocking melodies flow with the sultry vocals to create a unique track. If you like this track, you can download it for free, and look out for the full album in December!
