Canadian hip-hop producer Ryan Hemsworth, just had this new track of his featured on Spin Magazine. It has been described as an angsty feeling track, but think the vibe of the track is sick. Ryan uses samples of Rick Ross to create a cool hook over the epic beat. Deniro Farrar starts off the track sounding a bit like Tyler, The Creator, then Shady Blaze finishes off the track picking up the pace. Not your usual college hip-hop, but Ryan is definitely making a name for himself as a producer in the genre.

I’m just on fire with my posts right now. First the Rick Ross mixtape, then the Jean-Roch post, now this. Christmas came early folks. I had a hard time blogging this one because I was too busy awkwardly dancing in my apartment. Trust me, it was awkward. The man who survives single to single (Flo-Rida) is back at it again with another leak following “Wild Ones” ft. Sia, who looks just like Betsey Johnson. No word on who produced the track, but it’s absolute audio fire. Download at your own risk.

Earlier today, Rick Ross dropped his highly, and I mean highly, anticipated mixtape (that looks more like an actual album) on the blogosphere. We had trouble finding a reliable link, since the site that paid over $100,000 just to host it, crashed due to traffic. I guess they didn’t make a return on their investment. Not Bawse. The mixtape contains 18 full-length tracks and features the likes of Nas, Drake, and Pharrell. Producers include Justice League, Lex Luger, and The Inkredibles. The mixtape is a monster. I’m not even trying to hype it up. It’s straight heat. I never get excited about mixtapes. Rick Ross is hands down the hottest rapper in the world right now. Believe that. *Birmdan hand rub*. Dannng boi. So Action Bronson, the white Rick Ross in my mind, hits us with this banger produced by Party Supplies. Any song that samples Sussudio by Phil Collins, John Mellencamp, and Charlie Sheen together is pure gold. Besides the samples, Bronson hits us with some fire and quality lyrics. “Just a white man excelling in a black man’s sport, like I’m Pistol Pete.” Mr. Bronson was nominated for the XXL freshman edition, so I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot more of him especially with tracks like this.

Quote has broken FNT ground a few times before, but I felt his resume qualified him for a solo post. Supplying bangers as thick as the back side of this broad, the Miami native has worked with some of the game’s best including Pitbull, Rick Ross, J.R. Rotem, & Jim Jonsin to name a few. The pop/rnb/hip-hop go getter has a very fluent and bodacious voice that allows him to work so versatilely with all these artists. I’ve yet to hear Qwote on the radio up in New England, but once people get a shot of this guys music, I have a feeling they’ll be calling for a second round very soon after. Conception Crafters is like the Maybach Music of the blog world minus the matching chains and questionable ladyfriends. It’s no secret that Jay Fresh (and Conception Crafters) has been taking the blog world by storm as of late. However, who was the one that was riding for Jay Fresh in the very beginning? Me. Who was the one that predicted he would blow up? Me. Who’s the one who whips blogs like Rick Ross whips dope off the iPhone? Me. Alright, that last question was a little off topic.
This blog, however, isn’t about me or my love of Rick Ross, it’s about Jay Fresh. In lieu of his recent, “Delta Project” Jay releases another visual shot, edited, and colored by Chris Complete to keep the #freshheads at bay. The “Delta Project” has done so well that it’s allowed Jay to book four shows with Pretty Lights music artist Paper Diamond, Gramatik, Supervision, and Michal Menert. Somebody swag this man out. Even though Jay Fresh may be “just a man” I predict he’s well on his way to making serious noise in the coming months.
