Dubstep | Virtual Riot & Amba Shepherd – Superhuman

Posted by on February 22, 2012

More and more young artist are emerging out of no where with these monster tracks. Add Virtual Riot to the list of 17 year old producers who are making the veterans look bad. This track is flawless on so many levels I don’t know where to begin. First off Amba Shepherd’s vocals complement this track perfectly. The build up doesn’t prepare you for what is to come, because after and during the drop is where this track really comes together. The drop isn’t too heavy to drown out the vocals but it is still grimy enough to please any dubstepper’s appetite. Although the bass and drop are a little heavy this track somehow manages to put you in a state of euphoria, because of its perfect choice of instruments and synth sounds in the melody. If this isn’t doing it for you their is also a chilled out remix which is featured on the EP and you can get it on Beatport HERE.

Electro-House, House | 90’s Finest – Paradise

Posted by on February 9, 2012

90’s Finest newest track Paradise is a melodic house masterpiece. Almost starting off with a Romanian house feel, then building its way nicely into a synth driven melody and heavy leads. This track is already being remixed by countless producers because of its catchy melody and potential for erupting crowds.

Dubstep | Fenech Soler – Demons (Minnesota Remix)

Posted by on February 1, 2012

I am dedicating this post to someone very close to me, they know who they are and thats all that matters. Your doubts and demons are only shadows of what you really are. Minnesota is one of my favorite producers, his California Dreamin’ remix is on of my favorite tracks. Demons by Fenech Soler is a great track to remix, and I am sure everyone is familiar with the Sigma remix. This remix from Minnesota is just as incredible as Sigma’s. The melodic vibe is kept the same, although I would argue Minnesota’s beat supports the vocals much better. This is all around another great remix.

Pop, Reggae | Cris Cab – Echo Boom(Mixtape)

After his releases, I expected nothing but a great mixtape from Cris Cab, but man did he go above and beyond my expectations. Cris’ sound is so unique and refreshing from other music today. Receiving help on production from Pharell, 88keys, and other notable producers, Cris provides us with soulful and reggae inspired songs and phenomenal vocals. Cris Cab definitely has what the tools to make it big, especially when he’s got help from Pharell, so expect to hear a lot more from Cris.

Dubstep | Love Thy Brother & Jacob Plant Remixes

Posted by on January 26, 2012

Embarrassing as this is, I love tracks like this. Creating music is an art form already, but when you truly portray emotion in your work, you have a masterpiece. The duo Love Thy Brother are known for their melodic masterpieces. This new remix of their’s should set the bar for all you dubstep producers out there.

Jacob Plant is a great producer that most people don’t know much about. Today on soundcloud he created a set of all the remixes he has created, most of which have not been released yet. Doing most of his work under Mau5trap, Jacob Plant seems to try hard to sound original, which considering how many people produce in the genre now, it is not that easy. It’s about time people get use to hearing his name, hes got big things coming and being only 20 years old hes got a big future ahead of him.

Dubstep | Krewella & Flinch

Posted by on January 20, 2012

Today turned out to be a great day with two monster releases from Krewella and Flinch. The beautiful girls of Krewella and Rain Man have concocted a filthy dubstep track with sexy vocals once again. Their remix of Breathe, or as it is known now Summit, was nothing short of nasty, but this track is on a whole other level . The title of the track says it all; they start off with enticing vocals to lure in the listeners, but right when you least expect it you get hit by the grimy drop. Flinch’s track starts off a little slower than Krewella’s track does, but don’t let the slow start fool you. Flinch comes in heavy on his drop as well, and its packed with bass and laser synths. Big things coming from both of these producers in the future, so if you want to stay current with their releases be sure to check out their pages.

A swedish kid in my house has been messing around with some production stuff making a few tracks in the last few years. Here at FNT we’ve always been a huge fan of these top 40 tracks that get remixed so it was a must post must download track.

Van Hooft and Forever Kid are two up-and-coming producers from Stockholm, Sweden. Van Hooft is still in Sweden while Forever Kids a Swedish hipster turned American fratstar. The Whitney Houston remix is their first production (with many more to come) in an attempt to revive and reshape old disco classics from the happy old days into modern day club bangers…
