Here is another great electro remix from Lazy Rich, adding to the list of great remixes of this song. I really appreciate that he puts a different spin his remixes. Although I can always anticipate that I’m going to get a fat, meaty electro drop, the presentation is always a surprise. The short lines of big synths during the build are very cool. Even though the drop sounds a bit generic, the little things make a difference for me: the wide, fat synths, the layering and roughness added to them, the pattern they’re arranged in, and the fact that it meshes so well with the interesting build. It doesn’t feel like a cut-and-paste remix, where the drop could have been slapped into any other song.
Lazy Rich notoriously posts previews of these big remixes, including all of the juicy bits that get you jazzed up for the release – which in this case will be on December 3rd. You can pre-order now, or just wear the sh*t out of the preview. Either way, I encourage you to get excited for December 3rd.

Felipe Tampa, better known as, FTampa has become a regular on Australian label Vicious Recordings, with his track “Kick it Hard” becoming a late summer favorite by many big name festival DJs, his recent remix of “Remember To Breath” still getting heavy airplay here and “Hero” receiving support from Hardwell, among others. Now he returns to a task familiar to the Brazilian, remixing, setting his sights on fellow label member Sgt Slick’s upcoming single “POW!”. FTampa builds on the character of the original, while adding his own energetic blend of driving saws and punchy kicks. The Ninetys EP was just launched on Cream Collective and it’s got so much variety that it could please many types of listeners! Of course, there are trap songs, but some are emotional, and some are more punchy. My favorite is “Put It On Me” because the vocals are so emotional and flow with the beats in absolute harmony. The EP can be downloaded and streamed at the link below. Sorry, no preview available except on the Cream Collective website. You’ll have to take my word for it! 😉
Electro, Progressive House | Avicii – Wake Me Up (EDX Edit)

About 17 days ago, EDX released a 1:40 long preview of his progressive house remix of Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” and he needs to release the full length track! Not sure when that will be, but the Swiss producer/DJ brought Avicii’s masterpiece to another level, and though we get a taste of the build and drop towards the end, it’s not enough! I’m usually not a big fan of previews, and don’t get around to posting them, but I had to make an exception with this one. This track is a must listen, because it’s that good, and help EDX out, by voting him in the DJ Mag’s Top 100 by clicking here.

First premiered in Bangalore during his Group Therapy 001 set, Mat Zo has finally given us a timetable and preview for his unreal single “Pryamid Scheme”. The sample was taking way too long to clear so Chuck D decided to re-record the vocals himself, showing that a. He is a boss (given), and b. he supports this track, which you should too. It will be out August 13th, so mark your calendar, datebook, stone slabs or whatever you use for keeping schedules.
