Posted by VMan on July 23, 2025
After a triumphant debut in 2024 that drew nearly 16,000 fans, GRIDLIFE Summer Apex Music & Motorsports Festival returns to Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, from Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27, 2025, now expanded into a three-day event that blends high-octane racing with two days of boundary-pushing music performances for the ultimate ‘Speed Meets Sound’ experience.
For its highly anticipated second edition, the festival’s music lineup brings an exciting mix of fan favorites and festival debuts. Friday night kicks off with a headlining set from longtime GRIDLIFE favorite Flosstradamus, marking his fourth appearance at the event since his surprise B2B set with Willy Joy at the very first GRIDLIFE in 2014. Saturday will feature festival debuts from Disco Lines and Of The Trees, both taking over the NOS Energy Main Stage for their first-ever GRIDLIFE performances.
Other weekend highlights include the return of GRIDLIFE veterans like Chicago-based, boundary-pushing producer COFRESI, and rising bass actsAble Grey and Aspen. The lineup also welcomes a debut from genre-bending producer Jon Casey, and a special Laserwoods Afterparty hidden in the forest on Saturday night, headlined by Sydney-born bass powerhouse Sippy and dark bass beatmaker Nikita, The Wicked.
Taking place once again at the legendary Wisconsin track, the 2025 event expands to a three-day format with bigger production, two days of music across multiple stages, and a sold-out lineup of drivers competing in TrackBattle Time Attack, GLTC, GLGT, Rush, as well as Drift exhibitions, and more. This year also includes the NOS Energy Main Stage, promising an electrifying experience for music fans. Complementing the on-track action, the Samsung + Logitech Arcade Zone brings the adrenaline indoors with esports sim racing, vintage arcade games, and interactive entertainment.
Car culture remains the heartbeat of GRIDLIFE Summer Apex, with over 300 registered drivers and curated car corrals scattered throughout the venue—including GRIDLIFE Motoring Meet presented by FCP Euro, the Hyundai N Club Corral, Subimods Subaru Corral, and the Low End Garage’s Porsche Corral. Fans can expect GRIDLIFE’s signature car shows and open drift sessions alongside a packed schedule of racing and exhibition events throughout the weekend, making the 2025 edition a fully immersive motorsport and music festival experience.
Known for its immersive campsites and one-of-a-kind setting, Road America continues to prove itself as one of the most magical motorsport facilities in the world. From music pop-ups and curated vendor villages to heart-pounding race action and late-night parties, GRIDLIFE Summer Apex 2025 is where car culture and festival culture collide.
GRIDLIFE Summer Apex’s 2025 lineup announcement comes on the heels of GRIDLIFE Midwest’s successful 12th edition, where over 16,000 attendees and 204 total drivers gathered at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, Michigan to indulge in the premier ‘Speed Meets Sound’ experience.
The 2025 edition of the ‘Music Festival At High Speed’ combined its industry-leading, on-track motorsports competition, freestyle open drift sessions and high-caliber car show with top-drawer festival production and two nights of smashing performances, headlined by Chicago trio Levity, dubstep/heavy metal virtuoso Sullivan King, versatile party starter Dr. Fresch, and GUD VIBRATIONS label boss NGHTMRE.
Before gracing the stage with his electrifying set at GRIDLIFE Midwest, Dr. Fresch embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure in a ride-along with 2024 G1GP Champion Grant Anderson. Amidst the roar of engines and billowing smoke, the illustrious drifter and renowned producer/DJ shared an unforgettable trip, thrilling fans as this exhilarating journey was captured in stunning detail.
Throughout the weekend, the festival’s main stage packed other talented performers such as such as dubstep queen LAYZ, versatile trap artist Rossy, LA-based speed house act CHYL, experimental bass maestro Super Future, melodic bass wizard Dennett, and Atlanta-based bass artist OkayJake.
GRIDLIFE Midwest is known for its commitment to showcasing local talent, and featured an array of local and regional performers, including QLANK, Dino Munaco, Matty Cants, Flats Stanlie, QURL, Veronica Eileen, DEVA, Prim, RO LOW, N8 b2b Kacper Kawala, Lachjaw, Tarrow, Key Mitch, Choccy Milk b2b Hush, Lowke b2b Ronan, S’moores, Rob D’Shawn, Kavic, and INV3RTED.
To go alongside its riveting car showcases and electrifying performances, GRIDLIFE Midwest 2025 introduced some new wrinkles for its 12th annual edition. Firstly, the festival moved its grounds over to the affectionately named ‘Festival Hill,’ which allowed for the larger ‘NOS Energy Main Stage’ and a bevy of additional vendors. Additionally, the Trackside Disco Stage (GRIDLIFE Midwest’s silent disco tent) also moved over to Festival Hill, providing shade during the day for track viewing and a larger space for late-night silent disco fun. On Friday night, Levity, Dr. Fresch, OkayJake and Super Future all played surprise sets at the Trackside Disco Stage to continue the energy once the main stage closed for the evening.

From start to finish, JOYRYDE’s latest track, “The Box” is bumping. Just as listeners hoped for, JOYRYDE masterfully follows up his “4 Real” remix with absolute fire!
JOYRYDE has been gaining some serious momentum with his genre bending style, Swurve House. This momentum is thanks to the producer’s ability to be flexible with his output, being able to masterfully produce between genre boundaries. JOYRYDE’s consistency not only in sound quality but also in video accompaniments (mostly automotive related), has helped develop him into one of the most sought after artists today. With notices from the likes of Skrillex, NGHTMRE, and other top dogs, it is only a matter of time before this high energy artist explodes onto main stages across the globe. Check out the track then watch the video, you won’t be disappointed.
“I made this tune and sent the rough mix to NGHTMRE who dropped it first in NYC, 12 hours later my HD died, I lost the master files and video for this and other songs…now 1 week after its original release date she made it into the world. fck problems. about the video loop at half way, it’s the most that could be done.” – JOYRYDE

NGHTMRE has spent the past year solidifying his place in the dance music scene. He has played some of the biggest festivals in the world including EDC LV, TomorrowWorld, Lollapalooza, Snow Globe, and many others. NGHTMRE will drop a new track every two weeks leading up to the release of his EP on March 25.
This past week he blessed us with the third song “Get Back” off the self titled EP. He managed to transform the Ludacris 2004 smash hit into a spiraling rework that is reminiscent of NGHTMRE’s devilish drops.
“I’m always looking for unique 128bpm house music. With “Get Back” I wanted to create a high-energy break beat song that would still fit into a house live set!” – NGHTMRE
