Latvian producer Tobu released an infectious little ditty “Infectious” and if I was a songwriter I’d be writing to it ASAP, because this instrumental is a hit pop record waiting to be written on. So if you’re Carly Rae Jepsen, Katie Perry, Ariana Grande, or even Calvin Harris, take note, you might have something with this one! I’ve been playing this tune on repeat, and either I’m a sucker for cheesy vibes, or this is just really good. What do ya’ll think, yay or nay? Either way, it’s a must listen and a must download in my book!

Who knew so much soul could come from a 19 year old Switzerland boy, but wow his remix of Prides’ “Messiah” is a deep house gem that’s in a league of its own! I’m currently listening to it, and it feels like there’s a dance party happening inside my heart lead by a gospel choir, and a DJ named Sebastian Carter on the decks as their conductor, now hear how that sounds! This is a must listen and a must download!

I’m going to be perfectly honest, I have not listened to any of Lana Del Rey’s latest singles, I’m just not into her, but a few remixes have presented themselves to me, and this one in particular by Y//2//K trillifies the CT boarding school taught diva’s latest release “Utraviolence,” as if her and her producer downed a whole bottle of lean before recording it. I guess a little chop and screw can make anyone sound like a G, even Lana. For real though, this remix bangs so sit back and enjoy! This is a must listen and a must download!

Pusher’s “Feel U” track is fresh, no doubt about it! A trustworthy music tastemaker put me on to this dope track just the other day, which incorporates glitch, trap, 90’s R&B, and old school video game sounds to create a retro funky nostalgic energy, and I’ve been intrigued ever since! Let your ears figure this one out, and keep an ear out for that Britney Spears sample “hit me baby one more time” buried in the beat (it’s there). Before I even begin, there are two things I need to get off my chest: 1. I’m in a moombahton state of mind today, and 2. I’m a sucker for Summer country records. With that said, Johnny_beats just sent over his latest remix of Frankie Ballard’s “Sunshine & Whiskey” and it sounds like a lady in the street, but a freak in the bed. At first listen you think, here we go again for another melodic deep house remix of a track I’ve never heard, but then the hook kicks “and everytime you kiss me” the bass drops! That’s how johnny_beats does it. This is a must listen and a must download!
