Since its inception three years ago, TomorrowWorld has quickly become one of America’s best electronic dance music festivals, as it welcomes over 200 artists spread across eight stages for three days of amazing music, in addition to priding themselves on their jaw-dropping stage designs. This year, with brand new additions like Breakfast Beats in DreamVille, a host of new stage curators, and perhaps its most impressive lineup yet, TomorrowWorld is gearing up for its biggest and best festival to date – and we can’t wait to see the festival in its full glory. Each day of the festival features a different slew of stage curators, ensuring that the musical programming will never be stale, and the first day of the festival will feature a Smash The House stage, Ferry Corsten’s Full On stage, the “It’s A Trap” stage, Adam Beyer’s “Drumcode” stage, The Magician’s “Potion” stage, and the Huh What & Where stage. FreshNewTracks has put together a playlist of our top picks from Day 1 of TomorrowWorld, featuring artists like Le Youth, Tchami, Jonas Rathsman, Shaq, and more. You can find each of the artists’ stage and set time below the jump. You can still get tickets to TomorrowWorld here, so move fast.

Electro | Hardwell’s Collaboration With Armin Van Buuren Is “Off The Hook”

It’s not often that two of dance music’s biggest and best artists come together for a song, but when they do, it is sure to be massive. While a collaboration between Hardwell and Armin Van Buuren might have broken the Internet last year, the two dance music titans have finally put their heads together to deliver their latest main stage monster, “Off The Hook.” First played by Hardwell at Ultra Music Festival, “Off The Hook” combines the best of both producers, as the Revealed Recordings boss lays down a gritty, electro bass line, while Armin infuses the track with his trademark, up-tempo trance. You can get “Off The Hook” on Beatport here.

Posted by on September 14, 2015

Building on the success of his “Communicate” release just last week, BENJ returns with fresh Canadian bacon for our ears in the form of “Kung Pao” featuring Houston representer Stockz off his forthcoming “Homework” EP releasing this month. Produced, written, and recorded in his kitchen, “Kung Pao” is riddled with witty wordplay, serving as the second release from the highly anticipated tape dropping on the 21st. Can’t get enough of BENJ’s new music at the moment.

Friday means new music, and digging through Spotify in their latest uploads, this chill indie tune from MOKS featuring UK singer/songwriter James Arthur “Otherwise” popped up in my headphones, and it’s one of those ‘whistle as you go’ ditties to get you through the work day. Reminiscent of that Kill Bill track that was played in a Mercedes commercial, “Otherwise” has elegance and universal written all over it, all while maintaining a folky sound for authenticity. Stream it on Spotify below!
