Posted by on May 30, 2020

Matroda can’t stop the fire this year, continuing the onslaught on house-induced music with a serious kick.

“The Movement” is an extension of the musical themes Matroda has become known for, while seemingly highlighting the movement he himself he created around the genres such as G-house and bass house.

“The Movement” is a sure fire win for the solo artist, whom had to stop his 2020 North American tour this year due to the pandemic.

With things returning to normal and Matroda showing no sign of slowing, this is one solo artist to keep an eye on.

Electronic | Matroda’s Sophomore Single of 2020 “Pictures” Is A House Charmer

Posted by on March 20, 2020

Fit for the clubs or your gym playlist, the versatility and digestibility of what “Pictures,” and much of the Matroda discography offer, is underrated on a mainstream level. With that said, the dance music community knows him well, as he’s toured the world, topped charts, and received love from some of the best in the game (Diplo, Calvin Harris, and others.) “Pictures” captures a nice bit of what the hype is all about, Matroda blending deep and inspiring emotion within a melancholy tech house structure. The end render is something we will be hearing in the dance public consciousness this year more than likely.

Matroda has the stamina, brand, and productivity to last for the long run. With a vibe that’s all his own and much to offer, don’t sleep on this guy.

Posted by on February 29, 2016

This one goes hard as hell. Matroda is a new guy on my map, but his track “Chronic” that dropped on Spinnin’ the other day was quite an introduction. The bass fueled g-house banger has an eerie lead vocal sample that is captivating and creepy at the same time, and the bass line is as brainwashing as the music video. Check out the visuals and audio for “Chronic” by Matroda, you won’t be able to blink.
