DJ Dibella continues to drop banger, after banger, after banger. This latest project harnesses the party power of Avicii’s Rapture (one of the more highly DLed track on FNT recently) and combines it with some classic hooks and verses. Keep an eye on this up and coming New England artist, he’s been giving some of our other noteworthy mashup artists a serious run for their money. This is one of those don’t shoot the messenger kind of deals. I know this remix has been out for about 3 months now. In those months this has been the least hyped remix of Skrillex’s. It’s about time the general public gets a listen at this Norwegian BANGER.

It seems like every day the mainstream hip hop and rap industry assimilates marginally more to the electronic scene. In fact, we intentionally included the variety of genres you see today on FNT from the start because we thought and wanted this fusion to happen (not that we influenced that path at all, but it’s been a longstanding goal to offer a balance between the previously distinct genres). We’ve witnessed electro, techno, house, and now dubstep infiltrate the world that’s been untouched for years so I’m hoping the electro scene, with all its creativity, will influence the visual side of things and provoke a resurgence of music videos. The one above isn’t insanely good or creative but it’s a worthwhile watch because its not your average pool scene party that flaunts fast whips and gold chains. You don’t get to witness a skilled quad roller-skater weaving through traffic to the tune of a gorgeous girl everyday (yes, thats the Haley who’s featured on Kaskade’s tracks). If there were more videos like this I might actually watch MTV Videos.

On average, I get more bad submissions that I do good. Sometimes, they’re unbearable. I mean, I really can’t even tolerate the mediocrity half the time. I have to write the artist back as to why they won’t make the site and then of course they get their panties in a bunch. That’s how it goes though. Rejection never feels good. I got this submission over the weekend I literally could not stop laughing. Read the e-mail below.
I mean, this is unintentional comedy gold. Are you kidding me right now? First of all, don’t put a smiley face in your e-mail. I swear all these european/foreigners always do that. Secondly, somebody tell this guy that it’s not “sites” it’s site. Lord have mercy. Who made this animation? What is this guy smoking? Random butterflies and mustaches? Is this some sick joke? I can’t stop watching the video because I can’t get it out of my head. This is like the worst submission of all time. Hands down. I quit.
