The first single off of Gemini’s next EP, “Mercury.” The video for this track is a visual mind f#@k, it is literally just thousands of pictures of the sky set in fast-forward, I will say it is pretty artsy to watch though. The song itself is smooth Gemini bass, his technique to producing melodic Dubstep is one of the finest only to be matched by Seven Lions. The “Mercury” EP is releasing November 19th, but this single and its instrumental are now available on Beatport.

Alternative | Drake Ft The Weeknd – Crew Love (Gemini Cover)

This cover has led me to do research on Gemini, turns out this is him singing on this track. Gemini actually sings on most of his music which I had no idea it was him (because he sounds really close to a woman). On this cover, Gemini used much less autotune than he usually does. Although he sounds like Florence and the Machine, he truly does have an incredible voice. The instrumental work is always something to try to compete with, his Piano work is beautiful. This is a pleasant surprise from Gemini.

The amazingly talented Gemini is back at it again with another one of his famous piano-influenced, melodic dubstep remixes. Consistently producing top level remixes and originals that are sure to elevate you out of this world; this new one completes the task. Not over exhausting us with the heavy grime that so many artist proceed to convey, Gemini stays true to his own style through almost all of his tracks. The only downfall is that this is currently a UK release, but I couldn’t hold off on it. Stay tuned for info about Gemini’s album as well which is currently in the making. Another killer remix from Gemini that has hit over 2million views on the UKF Dubstep channel. Nothing short of amazing once again from this bright producer, showcasing his amazing piano melodies and appealing melodic styled dubstep. Dubstep, Electro-House, Electronic | Gemini — Fire Inside EP

One of my favorite Dubstep producers, Gemini, releasing another EP today titled “Fire Inside”.  Yet again he brings something different to the genre, never ceasing to suprise me and always staying true to the style he favors most. Known most for his melodic/euphoric basslines and drops; Gemini keeps that style through this EP, but also provides something a little heavier, as well more electronic. Starting off with Fire Inside, which was previewed on UKF’s alternate youtube channel about a month ago showcasing Gemini’s electro fire, had already caught my attention before I even listened to the other three tracks. Giving it a trancy vibe throughout parts of the track, but also bringing the chainsaw electro sounds is what gives this tune the perfect balance between bliss and madness.

No Way Out is where we see that classic melodic Gemini style we all love so much, filled with his amazing piano melodies that bring us back to when he first released his single Blue. His third track To The World is his anthem to all the dubstep fans who need those heavy bass lines and drops. This tune has been one of the highlights of his US tour sets smashing crowds everywhere. Lastly we have a track entitled Nothingness, which was added last minute causing the EP release to be pushed back a week or so. This was completely unexpected from Gemini, but I’m glad he decided to include it on this EP. Categorized as Electronica, this track showcases his ability to create a masterpiece outside of Dubstep. Dubstep, Electro, House, Review | Feed Me – Feed Me’s Escape From Electric Mountain EP

Feed Me dropped this killer EP yesterday, and I have literally had the entire thing on repeat since. Feed Me AKA Spor has had an insane career so far. As Spor, Feed Me was one of the most legendary artists in drum & bass and is still considered so. He created Feed Me, the green critter above as a new persona with the goal of creating crazy sounding dance tunes out of electo, house, and dubstep beats mainly. Though he still does some work in drum & bass as Spor, Feed Me seems to understand that his new persona is now his main one, and will surely continue to drop insane works such as this one.

As I said before Feed Me’s goal has been to create great dance tracks, and that greatly reflects on this EP, even on the dubstep tracks. Trapdoor which was the first track off this EP that we were teased with, has a sick vocal and dubstep blend. Relocation is the first time I have really ever heard Feed Me create a very strong uplifting house track, shows that the man does not wish to settle on one style of music. One Click Headshot is a laugh for anyone who has seen the youtube video that is sampled on the track, and once it drops….BOOM HEADSHOT! I get the feeling that on Embers, Feed Me had some guidance from Deadmau5 with the use of the chords, the track itself is built perfectly, too bad we never got a preview of it before the release. Trichitillomania (mouthful of a name) I have a feeling was meant for the sole purpose of being remixed, considering how basic sounding of an instrumental track it is until the drop at 4:30. Last is the greatly anticipated dubstep collaboration between Feed Me & Gemini, Whiskers. Gemini’s style is very smooth, melodic, and almost trance like, but that blended with the raunchy styling of Feed Me leaves us with one dope finale to the EP. Happy listenings.
