Indie | Wesley Wynne returns to FNT: Tribute to guitar player John Fruscainte

Posted by on July 13, 2015

If you’re a fan of RHCP and especially their guitar player John Frusciante you should check out this project. Wesley commented “I’ve wanted to make my own renditions of John’s solo work for a long time and I couldn’t be happier with how the songs came out. John is an incredibly unique guitar player and has been a huge influence of mine for a long time now. The goal of this project was to give a nod to John in my own way and hopefully expose more people to some of his extraordinary catalog.”

The New York based duo is back at it, gracing us with yet another hit single ‘Give You Up’. The track encapsulates everything that a house fan, and any fan of EDM for that matter, loves – euphoric vocals and a silky-smooth beat. The ladies did a stunning job of infusing the angelic vocals of the brother-sister duo, Paperwhite, with their characteristic melodic beat to create a beautiful union of sound. Do yourselves a favor and add this to your summer playlists! Be on the lookout for a continued 2015 presence from The Jane Doze. Oh and I forgot to mention, they are giving away a 24 hour FREE download of the track! Get a move on people, the clock is ticking!

Future House | Sydney’s Tom Budin Crushes Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again”

Posted by on May 5, 2015

I’m not a fan of the pop-rap crossover “Top 40” nonsense that gets played on the radio. I’m not even a Fast and Furious fan. This “See You Again” record is something else though. It’s so well done and it’s the hit that Wiz Khalifa (and his label) seriously needed. Hits are hard to come by. Sydney’s Tom Budin (pronounced Boo-Din for all you yanks) brings the record to another level, transporting it into a groovy future house banger that I can see myself blacking out to and throwing up in an Uber XL later in the night while driving through Raising Cane’s and ordering five caniac combos. It’s just that good. What’s even better? It’s a free download which should be a crime. I’d buy this remix a million times.

I’m not a mashup fan. Never have. Never will. This though? This is something serious 2Fire lives up his name to bring us a future house remix that you might lose your face to at home or in the club. 2Fire has had a stroke of genius mashing Cazette’s infectious “Bind Heart” single featuring Terry B with Riggi & Piros’s “Keep Rocking”. The result is nothing short of incredible. Free download below.

Chill | Cosmic Sense – I Want You

Posted by on January 19, 2015

‘I Want You’ is sexy. Cosmic Sense embrace the condition of their name and create this dreamy tune that’ll drift you away into an endless abyss of shining stars. I’m a big fan of what these guys are doing over there. These producers are becoming a quick favourite, with their last tune hitting over 200,000 plays on Soundcloud. With beats this smooth I can only predict a limitless future for the duo.

House | Leon Lour Remix Eric Prydz’s “Pjanoo” Classic

Posted by on January 7, 2015

Holy smokes! Just when I thought I’d never hear another good Eric Prydyz “Pjanoo” remix one of my favorite Youtube channels goes and releases an incredible tune out of nowhere. Talk about kicking off 2015 with a bang. Little is known about this London based producer, but what can be gleaned from his socials is that he’s a football fan, likes beer, and big fat tunes. Sounds like my kind of guy.

Leon Lour’s “Pjanoo” remix is available now on Eton Messy Records. *Fedora Tip*
