Electronic | Midnight Pool Party Drops Summer Anthem, “DON’T KILL MY VIBE”

Posted by on June 17, 2022

Australian duo Midnight Pool Party is back with a new summer banger via “DON’T KILL MY VIBE”. The new disco infused dance record is as catchy and fun as they come, and will without a doubt have you tapping your toes along with it. Tune into the new song above now and read a quote from the group after the jump. Enjoy!

“We wanted to go back to a kinda more disco chill vibe for the next single. Instrumentallywe were inspired by the Remix PNAU did for Elton John and Dua Lipa “Cold Heart”. We also were inspired by a fewof Dua Lipa’s pop songs. A lot of the production behind her songs have inflections of disco and funk and we wanted to make a track that was catchyand poppy but with a disco flair.Lyricallythis is a song about walking away from toxic situations, focusing more on yourselfandnot letting anyone kill your vibe. It’s almost like a SELF-HYPE song, to kinda recalibrate yourself. Even when you get into bad situations, you can still startover again. No regrets, just onward and upward.” – Midnight Pool Party

Chris Hurst - Tiny Dancer (Elton John)“Tiny Dancer,” one of the many great hits from legend, Sir Elton John, just got an awesome welcome to the future makeover from Chris Hurst. His timing couldn’t have been any better for the weekend. Elton John isn’t dead but there is no better way to honor him and his music than to just go out and dance. Enjoy.

RnB | Inc. – 5 Days

An illusive mystique surrounds the LA-based brothers known as Inc. Andrew and Daniel Aged both carry an ample wealth of experience having spent several years playing, recording and touring with names such as 50 Cent, Elton John, and Pharrell Williams among others. Gaining only what I can imagine to be a superb vault of internal perspective, they started recording and mixing their forthcoming album No World in the winter of 2011, and is set to debut February 19th 2013 on 4AD. After first hearing 5 Days I immediately thought back to this. Fine wine measured in time.
