Up and comers AN21 & Max Vangeli unleashed their essential mix last night on BBC Radio one with 5 tracks from their up coming album such as “People of the Night”, (the video above) the collaboration with Tiesto, among other recent hits such as upcoming releases of the Swedish House Mafia remix of Coldplay’s “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall”, Alesso’s “Raise Your Head” and the anthemic remix of Red Hot Chili Pepper’s “Otherside” by Third Party. AN21 & Max Vangeli take us on a 2 hour journey of bootlegs and new singles that will leave you breathless. Their album “People of the Night” comes out sometime this winter so make sure to be on the look out for it, I know I will. Get ready to send those trick-or-treaters running with these bass driven bangers. Document One’s new EP “Tainted Dub” caught me completely off guard. When Borgore previewed these tracks in his Daily Dose of Dubstep, on BBC, nothing caught my attention. After giving it a another chance, I can see I was completely wrong. Tim Ismag is another name dubstep fans are going to be hearing more of very soon. Many big names are giving this guy support and I can see why. Popeska has come out of nowhere releasing banger after banger. In one of his track descriptions he writes “just messing around”. If he is just messing around on these tracks I can not wait to see what happens when he starts trying.

This mix absolutely absurd. It is all three of them in the studio sitting in for the legendary Pete Tong during his Friday night Essential Mix. They do the essential tunes section of it, in which they play the much anticipated Swedish House Mafia & Knife Party Collaboration called “Antidote” (UPDATED with radio rip), this song is searing hot. They also go on to play new tracks from Thomas Gold, Dirty South and Those Usual Suspects, Matisse & Sadko vs Arty possibly and more. They do talk a lot and this can be annoying if you want 2 hours of music to rage to, but you also get to know them as people better and they are actually kind of funny together. The last section is called “Swedish House Mafia vs. Swedish House Mafia”, where they play tracks from up and coming stars such as Thomas Gold and Alesso, as well as playing their favorite chill tracks. Ranidu is the first Sinhalese artist to be played on the venerated Radio1 of the BBC and also the creator of the first Sinhalese single to be played on MTV.
