Hip-Hop, Remix, Trap | “Memories” Gets Flipped by Dawg

Posted by on September 27, 2020

You more than likely have heard Dawg’s music before clicking play on his remix below. In the past he has worked on music with Scott Storch, Usher, Tyga, Lil Jon, Ludacris and more and he had a major remix of Post Malone that turned a ton of heads that went viral a few years back. Now, the rising producer who was inspired by Los Angeles’ melting pot parties (like Space Yacht and Brownies & Lemonade) is back with more chaotic, rap infused remixes this time he puts his own touch on “Memories” by David Guetta and Kid Cudi. His self-described “junkyard bass” sound is strong on this one. The premise of that sub-genre is is simple: take the club-appeal of rap beats, and put the energy on steroids. He killed that on this remix, so be sure to check it out.

I’m at a time where I’ve given so much in my 10 year career, this single is special to me after hitting #1 with it , I’ve always wanted to celebrate it with remixes, I discussed it with Tiesto & his label who curated wonderful remixes, and we felt now was the right time to share with my fans!

Stream them all above, my personal favorite is the high energy Lodato remix, with second favorite, Kue’s chilled out pool side remix, but unfortunately there’s no pool this Summer, so we’ll go with an in house dance party. Dance away, you have nothing to lose!

Remix | Juuku Remixes Teflon Sega

Posted by on June 4, 2019

juuku leans heavily on cinematic sounds for his unique style of heavy trap and future bass inspired electronic music. The mysterious rising act molds together different feelings of love, fear, and intimacy into sonic (and also visual) emotional experiences. On his latest drop he flips “Beretta Lake” by Teflon Sega and Saint Jhn into a trap banger that revisioned the original into a very different space without taking away from it’s original form.
