After a great first year in 2014, Prime Social Group’s Haunted Fest has expanded its epic Halloween party to 3 different cities; Columbus, Boulder, and Dallas. The night of Friday October 30th each city will host some of the best artists touring the U.S. today for Halloween fun. Martin Garrix, Cash Cash, Kannibalen Records’ SNAILS, and NGHTMRE will rock Columbus, Ohio. Zeds Dead, Morgan Page, 4B, and more will destroy dance floors in Dallas. University of Colorado at Boulder students will have a line up of A-list artists talent melt faces at Balch Fieldhouse. As he powers through the end of the summer shows, Hardwell keeps his fans at ease with his enormous collaboration with Dannic, “Survivors,” that saw its release earlier this month and now has a music video to go along with it. An uplifting but spine-tingling progressive house beast, “Survivors” hits home with its powerful emotion but also hits hard with its larger-than-life production. To demonstrate the influence of music, Hardwell and Dannic have released a music video that follow an ingenious girl through her discovery of music and into eventual discovery of life outside of the forest. A couple months back a side project known as “Cigntaure” popped up out of nowhere with an amazing remix of “Some Nights.” The remix is now in rotation on Sirius XM’s BPM, featured on Proximity, and has hundreds of thousands of plays in no time. Many have suggested that this side project is no other than Audien which we have to agree with based on the level of production and the sound. Philadelphia-native Gabe Almeda is a wizard in the studio, and this can be seen through his summer-ready tracks that he’s been pumping out since his initial emergence just 2 years ago. Up until now he’s been focusing on originals, but for this release, he’s bringing us a remix of VÉRITÉ, a renowned artist from New York. Her song, “Wasteland,” was once a dance-pop gem, but Gabe Almeda took it upon himself to flip it into a progressive house jam, complete with a euphoric vibe and high-energy feel. Enjoy!
