Whatt, Slander sent over the dopest Pompeii remix I’ve ever heard! Trust I’m a fan of this song, you can ask the roomies the number of times I’ve had the original on repeat in the shower a good year or 2 ago, and you should’ve seen everyone’s face when they heard it on top 40 radio, I looked less crazy. Now with that said, if I were to hear this remix drop at a festival, I think I might just lose it on a natural high. Slander really took me by surprise with this one, I’m usually skeptical with top 40 remixes, but they did no harm with this one! This is absolutely a must listen and a must download! Meaux Green does what he does best, speed this one up with some blaring horns over a tough and punchy bass line. Adventure Club’s track “Gold ft. Yuna” has been remixed a zillion times by now, but I liked this trap spin on it. It’s been a while since I’ve heard anyone touch this song. Candyland & Revoke gave it a different energy with chill trap beats, and a higher pitched melody to make it unique. I feel like the song tells a new story with this emotional flip. Fresh off of a Pitchfork performance, Hudson Mohawke drops off a brand new single of his upcoming EP, which will be out on September 30th. As usual, HudMo does not disappoint with the release featuring the classic sound he has built with Lunice and TNGHT. A nice melodic build up clashes very well against the hard hitting bass and kicks. Festival banger, no doubt about it. Expect to be hearing this one a lot. Enjoy.

Australian producer Elk Road hit me with his latest remix of Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap,” and being a sucker for the original, see me singing the hook as loud as possible when it drops, I had to give it a listen. Off the bat, I was carried by the rolling bass and guitar, and once you’re in it, it sounds like a trippy adventurous mysterious epic dream, to which you’re the hero.
