House | Jessie Ware – Say You Love Me (Gorgon City Remix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on September 24, 2014

Gorgon City. What can I say that hasn’t already been said about them? This new offering is atmoshperic, sexy, and most importantly that UK garage sound that we love here. Jessie Ware’s “Say You Love” me single is out on September 28th, which is only a few days away. Pick it up here. Great tune!
Electro-House, Progressive House | Draper – Perspectives EP
Posted by Middy on September 12, 2014

Monstercat has been great at supporting up and coming acts right when they are getting noticed. For that reason I have found some releases to sound a little unpolished, but you have to take a step back and look at the overall talent of these kids. One release that sounds polished and arising from UK producer, Draper. The opening track “Coloured Glass” was previewed last week and has taken off across the internet, but now we are able to hear the rest of the EP. My two favorites are the bookending tunes that have totally different tones, with the energetic melodies in “Coloured Glass” and the soothing pads of “With You”. Grab the EP on iTunes and Beatport now!
House | Premiere: Morcheeba – Make Believer (Dave Davis Remix)
Posted by Middy on August 26, 2014
UK veteran hip hop, soul / house trio Morcheeba have been riding high on the release of their 8th artist album last year and now with some more big singles and potentially even bigger remixes from the likes of Timo Maas and others. One of these upcoming remixes takes their 2013 single “Make Believer” and adds a different, stripped down spin on the tune from fellow UK artist Dave Davis. He brings his own sound to the tune with chunky synth stabs over atmospheric pads and a steady bass line, all letting Skye Edwards vocals shine. We have the premiere of the tune, so stream it here until it comes out.
Chill, Electronic | JACKSON B – I Said I Loved You
Posted by BP on August 22, 2014

It’s a stormy night here in Chicago, so this new track from Jackson B, of Brighton, UK, fits the mood quite well. “I Said I Loved You” is peaceful and ambient. It has a unique set of sounds in the percussion and a mellow progression throughout. This is Jackson B’s first track out on Cream Collective, and I seem to like every artist they sign so I’m very excited to hear what more is to come! You can grab it for free right off the player!

If you were diggin’ that last release from Phazz in collaboration with the rising London-based label youtellme, just wait for what they have in store for you today. Introducing KAOS, an upcoming producer also based in the UK, whose track “8-Bit Love” is exactly what it sounds like, but with a little bit more trap and a lot more soul. This is only the beginning of what youtellme has in store, so stay tuned for a handful of releases in the coming weeks, and pre-order the entire volume here.
Chill, Electronic | falls – to see #u
Posted by BP on June 22, 2014

Today I’d like to introduce Laurie Stanley, aka Falls, from the UK. After stumbling upon his Soundcloud page I found a couple of gems that needed to be shared. I would describe the sound as very mellow. Chill, ambient, simple, and beautiful are all words that could describe these few tracks. My personal favorite is the new track “to see #u” released yesterday. To help everyone get acquainted with the humble Falls, check out this very brief interview we had and download the tracks straight from Soundcloud. Looking forward to more!
BP: Tell me about yourself?
Falls: I’m laurie. All i really do is sit on the internet in my room and listen to music. I live in the southwest of the uk.
BP: What are your influences?
Falls: Mostly my friends and their music. I listen to a lot of other stuff, but I like to make music that fits in with the people I like personally. My dripfest buds [are] Kid Hnrk, Drew the Architect, Drip-133, and Misogi.
BP: Goals?
Falls: Probably just to make more music than I am at the moment, and to meet more cool people.
Right on Falls. Take a listen below!
