Tough Love & Roger Sanchez team up, and recruit Boy George, to release “Hold On,” a groovy deep house banger that will hit you right in the feels. There’s an analogy I like to revert back to every time, when describing this sound; imagine yourself at a club in London 4AM, and then it hits you, you find that new burst of energy to keep you going till the break of dawn, that’s “Hold On” for you. If this is your first time discovering Tough Love, get with the program, they’re taking over the UK house scene, and are currently finishing up their tour in the US. Press play, it’s a must listen!

Electronic | Listen to Australian producer Husky’s new summertime jam

Australian house producer Husky takes us into summer with his latest single “Stars”, featuring UK singer/songwriter Official Nancie. From the artist: “I loved Nancie’s tone, strength and melodic runs, so I knew we could create something special together” – and they seriously did just that. “Stars”. Husky’s chilled piano chords and Official Nancie’s vocals work together perfectly, creating something that is great for the dance floor as well as a day out on the beach. Just incase you didn’t take my word for it, stream the track above and be sure to grab a copy when it’s officially released on April 29th!

Electronic | Check out the remix package to Passerine’s “Look Up”

More often than not, remix packages to good songs disappoint. However, the remix package to Passerine’s “Look Up” does the original justice! The Melbourne based trio has enlisted UK garage-house producer Dolo Jones, Aussie classic-house producer Ben Houghton, and Melbourne newcomer BenAtWork to produce some unique renditions of their new single. The combination of three gives this remix package grit, diversity, and a very cool dance floor vibe. Check out the tracks now, and be sure to support the artists if you enjoy!

Friday means new music, and digging through Spotify in their latest uploads, this chill indie tune from MOKS featuring UK singer/songwriter James Arthur “Otherwise” popped up in my headphones, and it’s one of those ‘whistle as you go’ ditties to get you through the work day. Reminiscent of that Kill Bill track that was played in a Mercedes commercial, “Otherwise” has elegance and universal written all over it, all while maintaining a folky sound for authenticity. Zedd’s new album released last week, with a surprising bonus track on the album. An official remix from UK bass producer Fox Stevenson. Instead of just tossing in a tone of heavy bass, Fox Stevenson puts a minimal, yet powerful spin on the radio-friendly original, using super fresh plugins on the drop.
