DJ-Set, Dubstep, House, Trance | Weekend Mixes 12/6/12
Posted by Middy on December 6, 2012
This week’s weekend mixes brings you a whole variety from dubstep to trance to house. It is finals time and though you may want one last hurrah this weekend, you will need some music to get down to studying and there is plenty of that here. We start things off with The Drop and this week’s show that includes a guest mix from Max Graham and an interview with W&W where they reveal their next track will be coming out on Revealed. Next up we have the latest two episodes of Tritonal’s weekly podcast “Air Up There” that is being rebranded after its final show this Saturday with the recording of their live show in their hometown of Austin, Texas. Both episodes are 3 hour retrospective episodes, so hit play and go on a journey with Tritonal. Then we have Fehrplay’s December mix to finish out the year that brings some groovy house to the table. After the jump you have Tristan Garner’s fast paced, bootleg heavy set from Queen two weeks back along with mixes from Knife Party, Adventure Club, Arty & Maor Levi. Tracklist as always after the jump.
Progressive House | Reepublic feat. T-Elle – Turn Off The Light
Posted by Middy on November 20, 2012
French supergroup Reepublic, after a summer of sporadic tour dates and studio sessions hinted on each of the member’s social media accounts, we finally have the first finished product of what these 5 men can do together. The group consisting of Tristan Garner, Gregori Klosman, Michael Canitrot, Sebastien Benett and Antoine Clamaran, do not deliver a mind boggling, groundbreaking track, but this is a one that surely broke the expectations I had for them and is one that expands the horizons and production arsenals for each of these 5 talented Frenchmen adding unique elements to this uplifting track with the soulful T-Elle on the vocals.
Preview, Progressive House | Reepublic ft. T-Elle – Turn Off The Light (Preview)

The Swedish House Mafia may be disbanding, but now France is making its own super group and it is coming out swinging. Reepublic, composed of Tristan Garner, Gregori Klosman, Michael Canitrot, Sebastien Benett and Antoine Clamaran have done a few gigs over the summer and have hinted at studio sessions, but we have seen nothing concrete from them. We now have the first preview of their first production “Turn Off The Light”, which combines progressive melodies with the soulful vocals of T-Elle. The preview is short, but it also shows the madness of the their gigs, so be on the watch for the full release November 19th.
Electro-House | Tristan Garner – Digital Rocker EP
Posted by Middy on October 22, 2012
It is rare that a producer makes music that truly embodies their live DJ personality, but Tristan Garner has done just that with his Digital Rocker EP. His sets are as energetic as you will find in the industry spinning all sorts of tracks from his own, to one of his favorite bands, Nirvana. This EP shows a whole variety of styles from the more progressive “Meteor” to the heavy rock infused “Sloan” to mind melting, genre melding title track “Digital Rocker” that combines rock, dnb and electro all in one heavy, outrageous track. Tristan Garner is quietly making a name for himself not only with his own productions, his record label Xtra Life Records starting to pick up steam, but also quietly as a part of the French super group Reepublic with Gregori Klosman, Sebastian Bennett, Michael Canitrot and Antoine Clamaran.

Drum & Bass, House, Trance | Andain – Turn Up The Sound (Remixes Part 2)
Posted by Middy on July 11, 2012
Andain – Turn Up The Sound is a song that lends itself to be remixed with a smooth melody that can be easily manipulated and beautiful vocals from Andain. American Trance legends, Gabriel & Dresden, put together a euphoric trance remix with a quick piercing bass line and an uplifting melody will make you want to just close your eyes and float away. For me I like it better than the Tydi remix, but it is very close. French producer / DJ Tristan Garner adds his flavor to the mix keeping the vocals, while adding a hard chopped electro drop that will satisfy those looking for something heavier. Zetandel gives us a very smooth, relaxed remix hence the “Chillout Remix” with reverbed key play and a subtle bass line. Stratus goes all the way with a drumstep remix of the track with some crunchy synths layers with pitched synths.
