Indie, RnB | Usher – Yeah (Pat Lok Remix)

Posted by on December 8, 2014

So I’ve had a lot of coffee this morning, but I just realized I’ve played this track 13 times already today. Honestly though, Pat Lok has brought the fire once again. What else is new. This prolific Vancouver producer has been gaining serious momentum in 2014 with some huge tracks including remixes for Alunageorge and Olympic Ayres. And with this remix of a club classic, we expect it to have some serious success. This is the definition of catchy, don’t sleep on Pat Lok!

House | Oliver Heldens – Koala (Michael Calfan Remix)

Posted by on December 6, 2014

I never post previews. It’s almost pointless. When I do, you know it’s something serious. I heard Michael Calfan’s “Koala” remix today and I lost it. Of course, it’s no where to be found on Soundcloud so we’ll be waiting until an official version releases. In the mean time, this will have to suffice. Michael Calfan has been extremely hot as of late with the release of his massive “Prelude” single on Spinnin’ Records. Earlier today he announced his December gigs, which will take him to Italy, Scotland, and South Africa. It’s good to be Michael Calfan right now. Turn this “Koala” remix all the way up. It’s something else.

Throttle was presented to me as the Australian Dirty Disco advocate, and if you’re not feeling the groove to his take of the Freestylers’ “Push Up,” you’re not human. On that French house meets glitch wave,  this is the ultimate feel good record. If there’s anything you need to listen to today, it’s Throttle’s “Push Up,” so get to listening! Progressive house lovers, you’re going to dig this one as well! This is a must listen and a must download!

The 23 year old German producer Glastrophobie just dropped a new remix today, reworking Josef Salvat’s rendition of Rihanna’s “Diamonds,” and I can’t stop listening, it’s so good, it’s addictive, and that’s usually what happens every time Glastro releases a new track. If you’re not familiar with Josef Salvat, get familiar, he’s currently making his way up the charts in Europe with “Diamonds,” and this funky chill remix couldn’t come at a better time. Those snaps, and that funky guitar line though… This is a must listen and a must download! Welcome back to school kids!

Although legendary FreshNewTracks.com overlord and former blogger “GMONEY” is long retired, he’s still a track hound, scouring the internet for the best sounds. He routinely surprises me, finding obscure tunes that I could have never found myself. Earlier today, he got me familiar with CASSIMM’s “Shake Sofa & Inner Rebels – All Night Long” remix, which is one of a kind. Released a few months ago, this is a remix that didn’t receive the love it should have gotten. Give this remix a second chance. It’s catchy.

House | Redondo & Boiler – Sunshine

Posted by on November 24, 2014

Is the video cliche? Yes. Does it feature sexual innuendo meant to sucker in the casual listener? Yes. Is this track a big ole’ tune? You’re damn right. Redondo & Boiler have been teasing us with previews (where it first premiered on The Magician’s “Magic Tape” series) and it’s finally out today. There’s no full track post, which is a bit of a disappointment. Understandable though, given the amount of people use Soundcloud to mp3 converters to rip tracks. The track quality isn’t ever the same, but I digress. Support Redondo and Boiler by picking up their latest Spinnin’ Records release. It doesn’t disappoint.
