Swanky Tunes & Matisse & Sadko deliver on this much anticipated release from Refune Records that is the first of many such big releases in the beginning of 2012 on the members of Swedish House Mafia’s respected labels. With a sensitive, smooth build that gradually crescendos with increasing intensity into a break of pulsing synths and pounding bass. Swanky Tunes is prepared to have a massive year with releases such as the above video of their collaboration with Hard Rock Sofa and Matisse & Sadko are as well with their collaboration with Arty “Trio” due out sometime soon, so do not forget these names at all. The end of the year means end of the year mixes from some of the best DJs in the world and one of the first to surface is the 2011 Annual Report from Swanky Tunes. This mixes all the releases that they have done this year into a 72 minute house marathon. They have had a brilliant year and will only continue to get better, so be sure to watch for their upcoming releases such as their “Calling” remix with R3hab and others in 2012. Dubstep, Electro-House | Kaskade Eyes Remixes

The remixes to Kaskade’s Eyes are finally out. All the attention seems to be going to Alvin Risk’s remix and it is evident why. The drop sounds like a combination of laser synths going off with a combined ruffneck bass synth. R3hab and Swanky Tunes remixes aren’t too bad either, but they were too generic sounding. R3hab starts the track off nice by setting up the vocals with a dope beat, then goes into his signature electro sounding drop. The Swanky Tunes remix didn’t really bring much to the table.

“Calling” is one of the best songs of the year and an EDM anthem. Those types of songs are very difficult to remix because they are so good, but R3hab and Swanky Tunes change it almost entirely and make this absolute beast of a song with driving synth and a heavy bassline. These are the sets from Escape Wonderland over the weekend in San Bernadino, California. The lineup was ridiculous and the Size matters tour was on hand with some great sets. This is another great song that Deadmau5 premiered in his radio one mix. This is not as hard hitting as some of his other more recent releases, but it still has his signature sound. This song from R3hab and Swanky Tunes is just awesome. Max C uses that signature voice of his to put down some amazing vocals. The drop at 2 minutes is just absurd and really just the combination of Swanky Tunes and R3hab works so well as they find a perfect middle ground between progressive house and dutch that is creates this bomb.

Another amazing remix for the Invisible remix package. These remixes for the original are incredible. Swanky Tunes does what you would expect out of the trio except with some more synth and less piano work and of course, the great bass. The Third Party remix is just too good with everything you could want and more. Perfect synths, a great bass line and uses the vocals perfectly.

Afrojack remixes a rock song to create a very interesting sound. It will definitely be big for the summer.
