Who’s afraid of 138? Trance may have taken a turn for the house-ish in recent years, but take a gander at Suncatcher’s insane soundscapes in “Simplicity” and tell me you’re not a convert to the genre’s faster and more musically complex roots. This track is warm and stirring without feeling cliched; thanks to lush synths and a driving theme, it’s pure uplifting gold. With releases like this, it’s easy to see why Suncatcher has already seen heavy support from titans like Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Above & Beyond and Roger Shah — it’s clear that the young Romanian producer is one to keep an eye on in 2013.

German duo, Jewelz & Scott Sparks have been on fire lately with their previous singles “Toxic Rush” and “Flashbang” garnering enourmous support and becoming staples of many Djs sets. “NYMSN” or “New York Make Some Noise” continues on the same style as their previous releases with a brooding big room build and a driving stripped back drop, set for the festival stage at WMC. Already garnering support from Mark Knight, Hardwell & David Guetta, their inaugural release of 2013 and on Cr2 records looks to propel them to an even bigger year.

Benzi & Willy Joy are back with a brand new single “VIBES” , the followup to their smash “This Is Paradise” that shook up the internets and tore up clubs worldwide. “VIBES” is a futuristic trap anthem that packs a huge punch. Events | Support Announced for North American Leg of Swedish House Mafia One Last Tour

Time has flown by since Swedish House Mafia announced up and final world tour. They have already rocked Europe, South East Asia, are now in South Africa and in a few short days take over Australia, the site where “Don’t You Worry Child” was born. In a little under 2 weeks they will be making their landfall in Mexico and with them they are bringing along some great talent as support for each of the shows. They will be joined by the likes of Otto Knows, Armand Van Helden, AN21 & Max Vangeli, Pete Tong & more. Get ready for their final send off, because it is going to be wild. They have also announced another auction for the Black Tie Rave on February 28th, which raised 447,000 dollars the first time around. It’s always exciting to see an artist that we’ve supported since day 1 to make it. Everyone’s definition of making it always varies, mine usually falls under crafting the official remix for the #1 DJ in the world, which Clinton VanSciver just did. The kid still has a ways to go, but making an official remix for Armin van Buuren this early in his career is unbelievable and definitely raises a big red flag that says, “start listening to this kid’s music” in all caps.
