RnB, Videos | Bluey Robinson- I Know (Remix) ft. Ryan Leslie

Posted by on September 11, 2010

Signed to Ryan Leslie’s label Next Selection, Bluey Robinson is an artist on the rise that has recently caught my attention. I felt it was time to share him with all of you. I am seldom impressed by the talent I see today. It just goes to show you that sometimes those with greatest talent aren’t always household names. Bluey is known for performing about everywhere you can imagine. From street corners to subways, his main goal is to lighten people’s days and get a smile out of them. Hit the jump to watch him cover Beyonce’s “Halo” in Harrods.

Love Like Woe

The Ready Set | MySpace Music Videos

I’ve been hesitant posting this song for the last few months as it doesn’t really fit the FNT bill, but J.R. Rotem produced it so I figured its okay to post. If you don’t know who J.R. Rotem educate yourself right here, he produced all of Jason Derulo’s bangers, and artists from Sean Kingston to Brittany Spears. The songs super catchy and very feminish (I sing out loud to it). I hope you enjoy it as I just lost all street cred (if I ever even had any).

The Ready Set – Love Like Woe(4.5 stars)
Labrinth – Let The Sun Shine(4 stars) Another softy track but its a feel good poppy song

Albums | K. Vincent- Feel My Pain

Posted by on June 1, 2010

Welcome to the world of K.Vincent, a young emcee hailing from the forgotten but not lost area of Uptown Chicago. It’s the experience of living in the North side neighborhood of Uptown that molds the music and background of K.Vincent’s raps. His topics range from the pressures of grinding to get a bigger slice of the pie to contemplating what to do when a man is staring at his lowest point. Whether you’re a student, boss, or street hustler, you can relate to K. Vincent. Shout out to the big homey Martin. For more tracks, visit K. Vincent’s site here.
