With insane remixes to KOPPS’ Lights, Rage Against The Machine’s Testify, and most recently Flo Rida’s Who Dat Girl, SmarterChild is becoming a staple around FNT. After recently joining the Pilot Creative team, which has spawned hits such as Moves Like Jagger and Stereo Hearts, SmarterChild teamed up with Oxymorrons to create this upbeat remix to Ass Back Home which stays true to the original pop ballad, but adds enough flare to get even the most stubborn ass moving on the dancefloor. Their third single to drop from their new album, the Papercut Chronicles II (being dropped in 1 week). It’s an infusion of One Republic’s Ryan Tedder and Travie McCoy going at it on one single. The catchy hook is poppy as always and I’m not as impressed with it as I am with the Neon Hitch collaboration. With their collaborations with Adam on Stereo Hearts, Neon Hitch with Ass Back Home and Ryan on this, I’m intrigued to see if GCH did any solo work on their album. C’mon Travie, sometimes less is more!

Although you have to buy it on iTunes, (or find it on mediafire) this song is your classic Gym Class Heroes. Neon Hitch throws down for the chorus giving us a melodic rock-infused tune. This second single is probably is trying to live up to Stereo Hearts and is featured on their 5th LP. I’m excited to see what else comes up from the LP.

Dillon Francis is tearing it up with this upcoming of Calvin Harris’s Feel so Close that Nero also did and his soon to release remix of Chase & Status’s “Hitz”. This is an amazing remix of Stereo Hearts that has it all with some dubstep and a really catchy bass line, bringing the song to a whole new level.
