The Blancos just hit me up with their latest release “Say Goodnight” and every time they send me new music, it gets better and better! This latest tune is so raw in its sound that it’ll give you the chills, on some classic blues/rock record that drops late night at a near empty Nashville, TN bar, if you’re catching my drift. Still on the come-up, but very much making waves in the music scene, I would follow these guys closely if I were you, I think their sound is going to catch on, and it’s going to catch on quick, so get with it. This is a must listen and a must download!

Next Wave Records supplied the vibes for this week’s hump day with this enchanting ditty “Lost”, courtesy of Free n Losh featuring Cat Lewis, and ya’ll need to hear it. Sava & Razz have been posted on here before under Doubletap & Apollo, and although they recently changed their name, they haven’t changed their sound, and this latest remix of Foster The People’s “Best Friend” is super dope. The progressive house sound lays real nicely on these vocals, with an electro-house drop that’s perfect for the DJs, and I can’t help but anticipate this remix being spun at the clubs, once this single hits Top 40, as it should. This is a great song, and once again a remix sheds light on a great tune! This is a must listen and a must download!

Dubstep | Gemini – Fire Inside (Said The Sky Remix)

Today seems like a dubstep sort of Tuesday doesn’t it? Also, today marks Said the Sky’s FNT debut with his remix of “Fire Inside” by Gemini. I love the original track, so I was hoping this remix wouldn’t destroy it. Said The Sky absolutely blew me away with this melodic flip of Gemini’s emotional original. It’s clear that this level of composition took some serious thought and precision. Said The Sky, aka Trever Christensen, from Denver, describes his sound as “dubstep infused with soaring melodies and heart wrenching harmonies. A sound from the clouds.” Couldn’t agree more. Sticky Fingers may be Above & Beyond’s best single since “Sun & Moon”. The original is just that good. The trio are still show stopping with their mind bending Acoustic album. In addition to the Pierce Fulton remix that just released and the Lane 8 effort that came out with the single, we have a freebee from NYC pairing Peter Brennan & TCUP. Peter Brennan & TCUP add a gritty sound to the tune, with some shaking bass to contrast the soothing melodies from A&B. Grab this one for free at the link below.

Today I’d like to introduce Laurie Stanley, aka Falls, from the UK. After stumbling upon his Soundcloud page I found a couple of gems that needed to be shared. I would describe the sound as very mellow. Chill, ambient, simple, and beautiful are all words that could describe these few tracks. My personal favorite is the new track “to see #u” released yesterday. BP: Tell me about yourself?
Falls: I’m laurie. All i really do is sit on the internet in my room and listen to music. I live in the southwest of the uk.
BP: What are your influences?
Falls: Mostly my friends and their music. I listen to a lot of other stuff, but I like to make music that fits in with the people I like personally. My dripfest buds [are] Kid Hnrk, Drew the Architect, Drip-133, and Misogi.
BP: Goals?
Falls: Probably just to make more music than I am at the moment, and to meet more cool people.

Much like how a certain chainsmoking duo stole all of our hearts last year, Elephante appears to be on the same track and ready to do the same. The high quality of each release combined with his unique sound is a recipe for success. His latest remix keeps up with his hybrid progressive house fused with electro style and, like always, it’s awesome.
