The third iteration of Mysteryland USA is right around the corner, and as we count down the days until June 10th, there’s a lot to plan, and even more to listen to. The ID&T-produced festival has already unveiled two phases of its stand-out lineup, and this year promises to be the biggest and best edition of the festival in America to date. Over the course of two days, nearly 100 artists will call Bethel Woods home, from headliners like ODESZA, Skrillex, and Bassnectar, to stellar undercard offerings like Gesaffelstein, Claude VonStroke, REZZ, amongst others, spread across six stages of bumping music. With so many can’t-miss artists to see, and even more activities to do at the festival, it’s tough to decide which artists take priority, and which ones will fall by the wayside, and schedule conflicts only serve as yet another source of anxiety before the festival.
In a new editorial series leading up to this year’s Mysteryland USA, we’re spotlighting an artist on the lineup that we consider can’t-miss for the weekend. Whether its because of a phenomenal live show, a brand new album, or stellar DJing skills, we hope that this spotlight series will help you wade through some of teh schedule conflicts easier. You can get your tickets to Mysteryland here.
This week’s Mysteryland USA spotlight is the SNL comedian, Kyle Mooney.
Preview, Videos | Daft Punk tease “Get Lucky” at Coachella
Posted by Middy on April 13, 2013
I know you may be getting a little tired of the Columbia Records driven Daft Punk hype / tease machine that is in full effect right now, but last night at Coachella an artist that did not even perform stole the headlines and the show. All Daft Punk had to do was tease a little more of the track first heard on SNL, bringing in contributions from Niles Rogers, Julian Casablancas of the Strokes and vocals from Pharrell to help complete the picture on this epic track. The unique robotic Daft Punk sound is so great to hear again and combined with the funky riff we have heard countless times, it is sure to be something huge. Listen for yourself and don’t forget to pre-order the album. Updated with SNL Ad clip.
Albums | Daft Punk to release album “Random Access Memories” May 21st, Pre-Order now
Posted by Middy on March 23, 2013
With the full court press being put on by Columbia hyping up this album all over the web and all over the world, putting up posters and slowly releasing small bits of relatively inconsequential information about Daft Punk’s 4th artist album, we can finally say we are the stretch run of the release. The album “Random Access Memories” will be released on May 21st and lets pray there are not any last minute delays. There are no names for any of the 13 songs, but you have the lengths of each of the tracks. You can pre-order the album on iTunes and until then listen to the 15 second clip from the SNL commercial below or listen to it in a 10 hour loop.
Hip-Hop, Videos | Drake ft Nicki Minaj – Make Me Proud (Live on SNL)
Posted by Juicebox on October 16, 2011
Just finished watching this on SNL (god that show used to be so much funnier) and had to throw it up on here. You get to see a insightful glimpse of Drake & Nicki Minaj’s relationship in which Drake swears he loves & would marry her while Nicki loves him back in a little brother way. Regardless, they keep it playful which works and results in the crushing of tracks when these two team up. I’m not a big Nicki Minaj fan, but whenever it’s with a Drake collab she seems to do it right.

The boys at SNL have done it again…overall impact of their work lacks due to the fact its just a song and not one of their hilarious videos, but still another hilarious piece of work.
