From the dudes who brought you the vocal anthem “I Am” (Yes it was them who made it and then Axwell just touched it up), comes another surefire summer hit. Sick Individuals are about as talented a producing duo as there are out there and “Wasting Moonlight” only helps cement that further. Get ready for this to drop on July 14th.

Remember “Feel The Vibe”, “Tell Me Why”, “Submariner” and “I Found U”? That is Axwell that made him so popular with his ability to engrave a sexy groove within a melodic and emotional track. Nothing has changed since the late 2000s, though his recent tunes have erred on the side of anthemic (not that anyone is complaining), versus the more stripped down and groove driven tunes of the past. “I Am” tabbed Dutch rising stars Sick Individuals to collab on that ridiculous project and now he comes together with the newly branded “NEW_ID”, formerly “NO_ID”, to craft to scintillating and groovy remixes for “Feel The Pressure”. This is vintage Ax that uses the grooviness from NEW_ID to make it even better. It’s new Axwell, must I say more? I am sure Hook N Sling (like the rest of us) is getting a bit impatient waiting for “Tokyo By Night” to release…..

The flag bearer for Swiss house, EDX has become synonymous with a soothing, progressive sound that is such a refresher when songs are simply louder and louder these days. He has had a very good year, garnering remixes for the likes of Calvin Harris and Avicii, while adding several strong originals and collaborations to his already stellar back catalog.
His weekly radio show, “No Xcuses” provides an outlet for his own original releases, while also supporting his favorite tunes from others at the moment. This episode has a strong Swiss flavor, drawing not only on his own tracks, but others from Nora en Pure, Leventina, and Dave202. He matches that with the best house tracks of the moment from the likes of Hardwell, Dirty South and Sick Individuals.
Generally in the radio shows of big name DJs there are a few unreleased tracks, but it is rare to see the percentage in this mix. You will find not just one, two or even three world premiers, there are 4, yes 4 WORLD PREMIERS in this radio show. So buckle up and get ready to hear some brand new music from EDX and his friends. Once known as the “Lights All Night ID”, Axwell breaks his pattern of blue-balling fans with tracks and releases this one in just 9 months time. This track in simply perfect, with the vintage melodic work we expect from Axwell. We cannot forget Sick Individuals on the track, who have been on fire lately and take another leap forward with this massive collab. Taylr Renee is poised to be a big vocalist in dance music, so be on the lookout for her. If you don’t like this song, we can’t be friends.

In preperation for tomorrows Mixify set with Sick Individuals and Cash Cash, Walden previews an exclusive bootleg of Knife Party’s “LRAD” from their just released “Haunted House EP“. I am slowly growing on the original as it is one of the more creative takes on a rapidly growing stale sound taking over right now. Walden gives own take on the track, flipping the percussion for a more gritty electro sound, while still keeping the minimal feel and the scintillating bridge. Next Thursday, May 9th FNT and Big Beat will be hosting young Australian producer, Walden for his May Brightness Session on Mixify. Coming off of the release of his 3 track “Machine Land EP“, the burgeoning talent has lived up to the lofty expectations set for him this year so far. In this 3 hour event, you will see opening sets from rising Dutch duo Sick Individuals, whose growing catalog of remixes have become the favorites of many, and New Jersey duo, Cash Cash, whose “Alive” remix has put them squarely in the spotlight of the dance music world and catapulted them to getting signed by Big Beat Records.
